My grand kids love them 10,12,4 years old

This kit was purchased for my 4 year old son and he has loved it. So has my 2 year old daughter and, if I'm being honest, the aunts, uncles and grandparents. We all helped excavate on Christmas morning! This is a very cute kit and the glow-in-the-dark dinosaur stickers are a nice addition to it.My only complaint is that the eggs can be difficult to dig into....we've had one other kit (from a different company) and did not find it so hard to unearth the dinosaurs. My 4 year old hasn't been able to independently crack any of the eggs yet, and I've actually had to really work at getting the dirt removed myself. I recommend soaking them for longer than the time listed in the instructions and with warm or hot water.Otherwise, it is an excellent kit and I know that my little ones will enjoy playing with the tiny dinosaurs for some time!

I gave this to my granddaughter for a gift. It was a fun learning item. I have no idea if it needs to be cleaned.

My kiddos LOVE dinosaurs. We’ve done excavation kits before that were incredibly hard to get through. These you soak for a few minutes then let the kids have at it. We did them on the kitchen counter with large pieces of paper underneath. We did get a little muddy and messy, I’ll probably have them do the rest of them outside. TOTALLY worth getting. The glow in the dark stickers- think those hard plastic stars you put on your ceiling as a kid. Super fun and my kids won’t trash them in 5 minutes. This kit also comes with a guide for them to identify their dinosaur and gives them some fun facts about each kind. How awesome would this be to pair with books and other activities about dinosaurs. Could even have the older kids give a presentation or report on the dinosaur they find in their egg. I plan to throw a few of these in my suitcase for a rainy day activity on vacation.

The kids really enjoyed excavating the dinosaurs. It comes with a dozen eggs and a dozen sets of tools so I could see this being a good thing for dino themed birthday parties or just getting them out one or two eggs at a time for an activity.My kids are 5 and 7 and my youngest took it very slow and methodically chipping away and brushing away while my oldest was more excitedly chipping away and examining what dinosaur he got. They include a sheet to see what dinosaur you got, it's name, what it eats and some details about it.Tips:1. If you run them under warm water for a couple seconds before starting, it keeps some of the dust down.2. Using a plastic container, you can keep some of the dust contained. I told my kids that was their work site and gave them their tools and let them go at it. It doesn't get that messy and whatever dust gets out can be cleaned up with a paper towel and warm water.

I purchased this box to take my girl friends kids on a fossil scavenger hunt, they are 4&3 year old boys obsessed with dinosaurs. Me and their mother built up this story that we knew an archeologist and gave us some tips as to where some fossils might be. Their excitement was through the roof as we played this off a little till it stopped raining. We placed them around the park and drew them a map to follow. They followed it with some help and found the rocks, took them home and began excavating what was inside. I have never seen them so excited and have so much fun. It was simple, inexpensive and an hours worth of time to hopefully build a life long memory for the kids. I highly recommend this

Kids were having difficulty opening the bag wrapping the eggs. Eggs took a while to soak water to be easily broken.Clay and silt from egg made great painting exercise for kids that afternoon. Surprisingly stain came off easily.Would appreciate much if plastic dinosaurs are bigger.

Such a fun toy for toddlers! My son spent hours digging for dinosaurs! It’s great that they provide a description of each dinosaur and their names. The glow in the dark dinos are an added bonus! We will be purchasing another park for a birthday party next month

My 4.5 year old has absolutely loved this toy. Has kept him busy for about 30mins trying to find the dinosaur.

The pictures are misleading, the dinosaurs are waaaayyy smaller than depicted.
