uGems 14kt Yellow Gold Earwires Leverbacks Fleur De Lis

These are just what I needed for interchangeable dangles.

Purchased these to easily change out earring charms. They work very well. They are fairly lightweight, but gold is very expensive now. Will handle with care and not sleep in them. Considering getting another pair if these hold up.Update 09/15/2022: Ordered my second pair because I liked them so much. Holding up well. Wanted an extra pair so I could leave the charms on. Will be ordering one, maybe two, more pairs. So easy and gives me so many more choices. I can now wear costume earring charms or drops since I can use the 14K in my ears. No irritation or itching. Very happy with purchase. Most of the time, I can remove the ear wires that came with less expensive earrings myself. I do have one pair that I will take to a jeweler because I don't want to risk damaging it.

As I got older, I found I needed to replace some of my wire earrings that held various dangles because they were either hard to put in right, or they didn’t stay in my pierced ear holes. I had many I had not worn for a long time, but still really liked. I also needed at least 14k gold wires, or my ears would get infected. These wires are just the right size, are fairly easy to put in, and securely close via the leverback, so I don’t worry about losing one. My various dangles fit nicely onto the wires and stay in place, so I can enjoy them again.

They are very insubstantial for the price.

These interchangeable lever backs are just what I needed to be able to change my earrings. I am allergic to other metals and the 14K quality of these are perfect for me. I plan to order more so I won't wear this pair out. Thanks

I bought these to replace the flimsy "wires" that I wear every single day with my jade hoops. I have almost lost my very prized hoops on several occasions, until I put them on these lever back hooks. These are comfortable, look great, and even when my hair gets tangled in them they don't come unhooked and fall out. My only "con" is the fact they are now almost $10 less than what I paid. Still, they were a great buy, even at the higher price. (I had a cheaper set that absolutely tore up my ear lobes, these are genuinely 14K and I have no issues with them, and I do not take them out more than once a month to do that dreaded deep cleaning of ears!)

I prefer wearing either leverback earrings or omega backed earrings. Both are comfortable and provide a sense of security against losing an earring. I had been looking for a pair of 14k solid yellow gold interchangeable leverbacks so that I could use them for some of my 14k gold dangle earrings that were merely on french earwires. I had seen other leverbacks where there was a joint solder and I did not want that. I wanted the earring to be one piece to prevent breakage. I found that feature in these leverbacks. They are fabulous. Solid, good weight and no solder points. I like them so much that I am ordering additional pairs of yellow gold and a pair in white gold. So glad this seller was available on Amazon.

I have a metal allergy. No fun costume jewelry for me :( I found these and knew I could wear fun earrings:)After my purchase, I received an email explaining there are small hinges inside the back of each earring. This little part is not gold. Well that was upsetting. If any part is not gold I can not wear them. The seller explained this extremely small hinge is in its own tiny house of gold. My excitement returned:)My skin will start to hurt within an hour if it is not gold. I have worn these for 24 hours with no problems:)

Being only able to wear 10-14 karat gold wires in my ears, these allow me to have some fun wearing some of the pretty costume earrings that are out there. They are easy to use and do not irritate my ears at all.

I have a pair of pearl earrings that the leverback broke. I tried to repair them and the price was exorbitant, more than i paid for the new earrings. I ordered these leverbacks and they match perfectly and a decent price. Thank you.
