TERRALUX LUXEON K2 LED for 4-6 CELL MAGLITE TLE 6EX

Definitely this improves your Mini Maglite. Saves a ton of batteries and is fairly bright compared to the native bulb. Make sure you get the tail cap switch as well.Beware:There is an issue that it depends upon the original maglite how well the focusing works. On one it was horrible. On another it was fairly decent. They don't all work the same.However, once you switch to a Coast LED Lenser P6  LED Lenser High Performance HP8406 P6 Slim Profile Flashlight, Black , you'll end up using the modified Minimag as a backup only.

What a difference this bulb makes! My 4 cell Maglight had a dim yellow light that was almost useless. I thought it was maybe the batteries, but I decided to change the bulb too with this upgrade. I installed the new bulb with the old batteries and it is super brite. The light is pure white not yellow at all and the beam easily shines over 300 feet, I'm glad I took a chance after reading the negative comments on here and bought one.I just installed this bulb so I can't say how long it will last or what the battery life will be, but I'm happy with the results so far.

This doesn't compare to the higher powered LED upgrades, but is worth the money. If you use your light quite a bit, it's worth the battery savings alone. If you use your light professionally, there are better upgrades out there. For the price, well worth it. It's at least as bright or slightly brighter than the OEM filament bulb.

I now have 2 of these in my MagLights, They are brighter but the best attribute is that they are a White light not Yellow. It gives a much cleaner view of the Item / suspect in the dark than the yellow light does. I see Mag is now selling LED lights too. but for the money these are a great bulb. I can not comment on bulb life as I have only used them a few times and mostly during Hunting season with no problems at all so far. Battery life is dramatically extended it seems.

solid upgrade, lose focusing ability so i would really say 3.5 stars and its a little pricy i feel for only 140 lumen.I bought this to save on battery life rather than pay for a new mag light. will update if there are any issues

This Picture Description is inaccurate, Their is no PCB-board mounted in a heat-sinkI was very disappointed to find that their is only a 40 hour rating, but still kept the single bulb that has no heat-sink.Amazon should be more careful with these product descriptions and products, We must fight this type of misrepresentation.It is pretty bright but without proper cooling from a good heat-sink it gets hot, I do not recommend this purchase what so ever.

Should state it is not standard size.

It's the perfect balance between brightness and battery life. Not a whole lot brighter than the incandescent bulb but more even diffusion of light.
