Great product!
I bought this item for my old music system and the sound input for it has improved quite a bit from using this product!When I first installed it, there was a bit of muffled audio from the left channels, especially during a moment where there was bass.But after a few runs, the issue got sorted out pretty quickly and has been performing very well for the price!

It doesn’t transmit the audio from ott apps
I could use this for dish and YouTube app in my smart tv. While the audio from Netflix and prime video was not transmitted

It's good bridge to connect your old legacy home theater with latest smart TV.

Change sound output in tv after connecting
Change TV audio out to Optical mode- Change TV audio out mode to PCM if digital doesnt work (if you don't change Youtube may work but not other dolby support apps like Netflix, Prime, Hotstar etc)
