Bluetooth air pod like buds for all you devices.
The GEJIN E18 are bluetooth wireless earbuds like Apple Air Pods but work with every device!Unboxing 10/10They come very well packed. You get a micro-USB cable for charging, User Guide. 3 sizes of eartips. other stuff.Build Quality 8/10The E18 are made very well. The dock and the buds seem like they're built out of plastic but are built very well and don't feel like they will break at all. The magnetic docking seems top notch too.Usage 10/10They work just like ordinary bluetooth earbuds. The left is your main speaker and the right one connects to the left one once turned on. They both turn on automatically when picked up from the dock and connect automatically to each other. There are voice commands in the buds to let you know when they are connected. On smartphone they appear as E18 and you simply connect to them.Comfort 9/10Very comfortable because they are light.Operation 10/10Each bud has one button on the back. Press once to pause music or pick up call. Press twice to go to next track or hang up. Hold the button to turn off or just drop them back in the dock. Volume adjustment relies on your device. iPhones should also show battery level on display.Connection 7/10In line of sight, I had no problems around 5 meters away. I walked into another room however and it dropped quite a bit. You are going to have your phone in your pocket so don't worry.Sound Quality 6/10To an average person they will sound good. Nice punchy sound with lots of bass but from an Audiophile you get this: Over-emphasised bass, has a lot of impact. Usual muddy mids from typical bluetooth headphones or earbuds alike. In this case however, Crippled highs!! I find that the higher frequencies bleed out. There is lots of distortion (in the highs). Turning the volume down didn't solve this, they just sound like that unfortunately. There is audible noise floor. The soundstage is not special or wide (plain stereo) and imaging is ok. Overall, they have a warm sound signature and sound nice.Battery Life 7/10Since they are very small you can't expect much. The buds each have a 50mah battery in them and they last only 3hrs at max, then they have to go back in the dock to charge for 1hr. The dock has a 500mah battery and it can charge the buds about 5 times. The dock itself takes 1.5hrs to charge using 5v 1a charger.ConclusionThe E18 are all about convenience. Having no wires is very nice, I like that they are automatic when they turn on when picked up from the dock, turn off when put back and connect to phone. They may sacrifice audio to some degree but I think you'll be looking at these for their convenience and that's what you get.

I was forever getting hooked up in them, and accidentally pulling them out of my ears, as I changed position in bed. I’d never tried wireless earphones before, and I found them so much better than wired headphones in every way. When my granddaughters visited me, they loved them too - especially being able to wear one each instead of sharing a pair of wired buds when one of their phones had ‘died’. The left bud is the ‘controller’, so whoever wears that one is in charge of what they listen to. Also only the left bud can receive phone calls. So, I decided to buy these earphones as a Christmas present for the 10-year-old, after recently buying a different brand for her 14-year-old sister. I worried somewhat that they were a little expensive for a 10-year old, in case she loses one or both of them, but both girls have iPhones and are ‘into their music’ and games, and I had no idea what else to buy for them. Having bought a similar product for the older girl I thought there might be a bit of envy if I didn’t buy them both some. I know they will love them, and cherish them, and I bought a different brand to save arguments over who owns which. Two things in particular influenced my choice regarding these E18 ear buds over the hundreds on the market that I could have chosen from. The first was the ease in pairing them - ideal for a child, as they pair with the phone almost as soon as they are taken out of the charging/storage case. The second was that the listing says their stereo bass output is to the recommended health standards for ear safety. I am not sure what the standards are, or if that means to UK standards - but I assumed it was, as they are being sold on a UK website.Another big plus is that, although the charge of the ear buds only lasts for about 2-3 hours, the charge in the charging/storage case lasts at least four times longer than that so, when the buds are put back in the case they will charge again, approx 4-5 times more, so they could potentially last all day on a single charge of the charging box. I have tried these headphones myself (using my own silicone caps) and the only thing I’m unsure about is how long they take to recharge when they are put back in the box.
