a couple of points, heater is brown, not gray, but brown is what I wanted. Also, the spec's say it has a plug in for power, My old heater was hard wired, But to my surprise, the new one also needs to be hard wired so this seems to be the perfect heater for me, you should update the specs and description

I ordered this heater for a special event in my workshop. It arrived the day before the event as expected however I couldn't use it because there was no cord included. Nowhere on the Amazon description does it say the cord is ordered separately. I'm giving this 3 stars because I had one of these heaters in the past and it worked well for 7 years (and came with the cord attached). That's why I ordered it again even though it was 4 times the price of my first one. This one also arrived with a screw missing and scratches on the back. I am returning and in search of something less pricey.

Good Heater but needs better thermostat-It has run well for years but the thermostat went wacky on it so I installed a 220 wall thermostat for its outlet,other than that I like it.Puts out quite a bit of heat.

Warranty says it covers "defects in workmanship and materials". Fan and or motor is defective as it rattles incredibly. I have 2 of these and other is fine. Called the warranty number today and they only cover materials. I read the warranty section to them over the phone to no avail.

I put this heating unit in my 18' X 24' well insulated shed and it is just what I wanted. When I leave it for the day, I turn it all they way down and it keeps the shed warm enough so nothing freezes. It got down to 1 degree outside a couple of days ago and the unit worked fine. I would recommend this item.
