Blessed Mother or The Blessed Mother is another name given to Mary, the mother of Jesus. According to the gospels of Matthew and Luke in the New Testament, Mary conceived Jesus while a virgin by Immaculate Conception. Mary has been celebrated since Early Christianity and is regarded to be one of the most venerated saints. She is attributed to numerous miracles and apparitions over the centuries and statues or figurines of her can be found in homes and churches throughout the world.

Perfect size for bedroom shelf
I am Catholic and buy various statues of saints and so on, from my faith that I pray to regularly. This is a beautiful resin statue of Our Lady of Lourdes (France). The size is perfect for the shelf in my bedroom. It is beautifully painted and similar to older representations I have known. It is very affordable also and have had some lovely comments about it.
