Great Router and Excellent Service
This 4g router is perfect for rural areas with poor land based broadband. It has external antennae so they can be swapped for a higher gain outdoor type.I had a hardware issue with the unit which was sorted out quickly and efficiently by the seller, excellent service.I would recommend the router and the seller without hesitation.

Recommended (but not for OpenVPN).
I really liked this device. It is small and compact and mostly really quite fast. It uses OpenWRT too, so can do almost anything. It was let down by the "unaccelerated" OpenVPN performance. I also didn't like the power supply...I would have preferred a USB power supply so I didn't have to worry about sockets/etc (it only fits in upsidedown); but that's a minor issue and most people wouldn't care. The community and customer support seem pretty decent too. So, overall, I can't help but recommend it. I'll be choosing this company for other such products in the future.

Highly Recommended
I would highly recommend this product, design-wise it's very sleek and nice and compact, it also looks very high-end. It was pretty simple to set up and the customer support is top-notch. Love all the features and this will come in very handy over the years to come. A fantastic product and couldn't have asked for more.

Great little router
Fantastic little router that can do a little bit of everything. Using it in a camper build, support confirmed it’s happy with 11.5v-14.5v input.

Good gadget. It is awesome when yiu stuck 7 hours in an airport, so you can get a sim and get on yiur own network

Update: Just ok, for the price I'd expect better performance
Inconsistent.Have changed out the firmware to R00TERS golden orb which I feel, somehow, performs slightly better.The fastest I've got on this is 60mb down & 40mb up.Downstream bufferbloat isn't great either, which seems to be a hardware limitation.I have changed out the antenna but hasn't really made a difference to the signal which was already at 100%, I thought a stronger signal would have improved the speeds but still inconsistent - some days I get 20mb, some days I get 40+.Not sure if it's my ISP but my phone's can get 120+ but again that's different hardware/ category.For the price I'd expect it to be more consistent and perform a bit better.I could have got a tp link or something for cheaper and probably better performance.Openwrt has a lot of functionality, which is a huge plus.I suppose it does the job, it's just consistency.
