now these are the real deal. controlling them with a wled board I was able to map them to resolume. Game changer. I wish they were 10$ less but non the less awesome. I will probably be buying another strip here soon

We have been really impressed with all the BTF products we’ve tested. Performance and color from kit to kit has been great and the high diode count on this tape makes animations very smooth. Works flawlessly with WLED.

Had these installed on my house through the winter in an aluminum channel and they're still going strong.

Exactly as described. The extra data line will prevent me from having to fix a bad LED when it's 10 degrees outside

These work the way I expected them to. My order was short by one but BTF got back to me the same day so no problem.

Please be aware that the control order of the light strip is GRB. Other strips may be controlled in the order of RGB and will not be controlled properly if used in series with this strip. If you need more than one strip just order them all from BTF and this will not be a problem.

I ordered 3 of these and after installing them around some windows inside the house, one of the pixels died in 1 strip, which I thought wouldn’t be an issue because these have a backup data channel, but in spite of this, all the downstream pixels went out. BTF sent a replacement strip after I sent a video showing the burned out pixel. Not wanting to unmount the entire strip I cut out the dead pixel and soldered in a new one from the replacement strip fixing the issue. Then 3 weeks later the same pixel died again killing the downstream pixels. This time I replaced the dead pixel and the surrounding pixels. Things have worked fine since then. Then I ordered another strip for a larger window and decided to splice what I had left from the replacement strip to the new one, and I found about 6 or 7 pixels in the replacement strip that had issues either receiving the data signal or passing it on to the next light. All in all I was able to splice out the failing pixels and got things working, but I wasn’t impressed with these WS2812B strips from BTF and will probably go with another brand next time.

The good: 12v cushion for those voltage drops, extra data line, LED lights are solidThe bad: quality of the extra pos/negative lines, found they weren't soldered right and wasted a good hour troubleshooting, also the adhesion is a bit of a pain to separate.Overall a thumbs up but not 5 star material.

Had been using these led for quite some time. Compare to other brend, these are still working fine while the other stopped working.These are well made and quality products. A bit pricey, but quality come at a cost. No more changing the led on the ceiling because of cheap led.Thanks for your great lighting.

The media could not be loaded.  used a QuinLED to drive it, and a 12V 10A power supply.

I wish I could give negative rating to this product based on how much grief caused. I have purchased 6 x 300 pixels strips. The adhesive quality is horrible, none of the strips are staying in place on smooth surfaces. I had to use couple rolls of clear hockey tape to secure the strips. Some of the led strips are behaving erratically after being powered off. The pixels flash randomly and the manufacturer was of no help when asked for support with this problem.Definitely NOT Recommended. Save your money and aggravation!!!

Product is as advertised. Installation is easy.

I bought two 5m strips and one of them works great, however the other one there were a couple places that i assume had not so great connections (and were a pain to figure out why), I had to take out the faulty section and solder back the working sections. I also have a whole bunch of glitchy LEDs which I've yet to determine why
