Tight machining !
I have gotten several of these sets for multiple trucks and have no complaints . The Machining is so tight that with the anodizing they use it makes the bearings difficult to press in . You can use your fingers for a few , a socket for others but there is always one that is a bear . Its random which one it will be lol . But , there just made that perfect . The 3 little tiny screws that hold the outside hub came loose once after locktite . I just used a little more and they have been fine . They look really nice and I haven't scratched them up in Florida yet . No rocks here . I used most of the screws that came with it but on 2 of these kits , a few screws were rounded out already . No biggie . For the price , compared to others , you cant go wrong .

Overall Great
I really like them but make sure you buy some blue loctite because these bolts will back out. And if you run 1.9 size wheels on your trx4 there will be some self clearing on the portals, or you can buy a wheel hex that’ll extend the wheels out.

Fits TRX4 Sport like a glove!!
Installed these on my TRX4 Sport. The installation was pretty straight forward. Everything for as needed, no grinding was needed.A few tips - the axles ship fully assembled, so you'll need to remove a lot of screws. So many screws. They'll all need to come out so you can lock tite them all. And you will want to lock tite them all. Also, do them one corner at a time, especially the front. That will reduce the likelihood of getting something backwards. Happened to me. Was during the dry fit so it wasn't so bad, but it's avoidable.I also recommend a hefty dab of marine grease in there to keep everything smooth and happy. Not sure if you can use too much.

Horrible machined parts
I bought this taking a risk because of the mixed reviews. Completely regret my purchase. Neither the front nor the rear axel housing were machined well enough to transfer parts from old housing. I worked with pros from a local shop and they were unable to get the swap done. DO NOT BUY THESE.

Not the greatest
Most of the housing worked for me except for the caster blocks on the front axle the angles are off just enough that the axles won't go in so i had to use my original plastic caster blocks. Also the provided screws for the shocks are not long enough

Wow
Wow the first after market product for traxxas trx 4 portal axles that does not require any modification to get them to work! I am purchasing more!

Awesome axles!
Great quality fit, finish and machining on these axles. There were two connections that were a little too tight for the linkage arm pivot ball on the rear axle but that was easily fixed with some light filing. Also, be sure to individually remove and replace each screw with loctite as you assemble these otherwise they come loose very easily. These look perfect on my TRX4 red/black Bronco!

Not for beginners.
So, I gave it 4 stars because of the price, that being said, it's also what made this so difficult. Where do I begin.....Just going to list off the pros and cons,Cons:They came scratchedMissing a bolt in the rear portal housingRear center diff is rubbing the inside of the housing just enough to be able to feel it. Hopefully it will break in.All of the shock bolts that came with it were way too short, so I had to reuse the old hardware, except the one of the fronts the old bolt was too long and the new 1 too short, so I had to trim the old bolt down to size. That's not an issue for me, but I can see how it could be.ProsLookes amazingAdds a fair amount of weight to the front and rear.I'm not a new person in the rc world, I consider myself a somewhat hobbyist. I have no problem getting a dremel or whatever tool is necessary to make things work the way they should. But if u are new to the hobby life, I would recommend the more expensive ones as they will have better quality control.
