Useful and sturdy
I don't jump rope much only when I need some extra cardio after a workout. This one is well built, the handles feel nice and comfortable in your hands and it is easy to use. Did not tangle and the rope part itself is sturdy enough for concrete.

Good quality, use a wire cutter to adjust size.
Good quality, well made. The instructions say to cut the jump rope to your size. There is metal in the middle of the cord, you will need wire cutters to slice through or a lot of determination with scissors. It feels smooth while using. Would purchase again.

Got it for my kids,
Light and easy to use. Its smooth, but the sides will fall of sometimes if you use it to hard. The design is pretty. I think its totally worth the money!!

The best jump rope I have owned.
I have jumped rope since I was 14 years old (been jumping for 24 yrs.). My father taught me for boxing training. I've owned countless ropes, from pricey ones to cheap ones. This is a speed jump rope. I have weighted jump ropes also (weights in handles), but this is clearly not the design intention with the rope. At first, it feels cheap, but once you start using it, you figure that the simple design makes sense as far as balance. The handles are very light. There is a wire that runs down the actual plastic rope. It's genius. The weight is exactly where you need it. I have only used it for two weeks, but I am impressed. I would give it a higher rating for beginners, but I do not recommend speed jump ropes for beginners. If you start to jump rope, I would get a simple one first, then move up to a speed jump rope.

Cheap Feel (For a Cheap Price)
This jump rope is super lightweight. Like if there is one thing I can say about it, it is that it is incredibly lightweight. The handles are made from some sort of foam, which lends itself a bit to the "cheap" quality I mentioned in the title. (Caveat, I am by no means an experienced jump roper. If lightweight handles are a key indicator for jump rope this nails it.)The rope itself is like the cable for a swing set - sturdy, and just heavy enough to comfortably swing around. I was worried at first that it would be TOO light to actually swing, but the cord is indeed the heaviest part of this product.Inside the handles are adjustable stoppers. Basically (see the picture) the white part bites down on the cable (so you can shorten it as much as you'd like by permanently cutting the cable to the desired length). Then the silver piece rests on the white stopper. The black plastic cap screws onto the silver piece, and then the momentum of swinging is the only thing that keeps the cable from bunching up inside the handle. If you want, you can force a decent chunk (1 - 1.5 feet) of cable into the handle, but it won't stay. This stopping apparatus feels cheap and clumsy. I think if this product breaks it's going to be this single white stopper part, and if that happens the cord will slide out of the handles. You could probably put tape, or something in it to recreate the effect. If you don't know your size, and have a small budget, I think this will work fine for casual use. If I were to do it again, I would google recommended lengths based on my height, and by a fixed length one of slightly higher quality, but I don't regret my purchase as a beginner jump-roper.

This is your rope (even for tall people)!!!!
Being almost 6'4, my current jump rope just wasnt long enough, and kept hitting the back of my head or getting wrapped up around my feet each rotation. So looking through various ropes on Amazon, this one mentioned in prior reviews that it was good for tall people too, and still adjustable for other sized folks.I was a bit concerned it still wouldn't be long enough, but as soon as I opened it out of the box, I could see it was bout a foot and a half longer than my current rope. Also, I noticed how much better the handles felt on this rope, as they were made of a slightly squishy type material, but I knew would be very comfortable. I immediately went outside to try, and rattled my first 50 jumps with ZERO issues, no trips, no snags. I didn't even need to adjust, it was perfect out of the box. The handles indeed did not disappoint, and I could feel that I didn't have to squeeze the handles hard to keep them positioned, as the grip material they are made of did all the work. The rope itself is made of a similar material as my old rope, and while still lightweight, carries a slightly more "weighted" feel when I am jumping, which I enjoy, as it feels like a more quality rope.I would have paid double for this rope, very excited it worked out.

Requires some decent wire cutters to cut to size.
I'm not a very experienced jump roper, so i don't have much to compare this to, but overall it seems to work great. Super light and smooth. The only caveat i'd just point out is that the steel cable is reasonably beefy. Like a dinky set of wire cutters probably aren't sufficient. Maybe a set of beef garden shears or just bigger wire currents are required. I'm ~6ft tall and had to trim off some cable ... just had to dig around for a set of larger cutters buried under my pile of inadequate wire cutters.
