Theses arrived on schedule and were exactly what I had purchased in the past from Williams Sonoma

Packaging was terrible
I sent eight bowls as a wedding gift because it was on a registry. It took her four shipments to get eight unbroken bowls. She told me the bowls are great and that after returning the first broken ones, Amazon just took her word for broken ones that were shipped after that. She likes them enough to still want the rest of the matching dishes.

Heavy footed bowl resistant to heat and good in the microwave.

Beautiful
Beautifully made medium size bowl. It is definitely chip and scratch resistant. While washing it by hand, I have carelessly hit it up against the sink, and to my surprise it is in perfect condition. Also, when nested with the other Pillivuyt bowls, the inside does not get scratched. Metal utensils do not leave ugly gray scratches on it. Quality porcelain without a doubt.
