iPad Pro 12.9 Case 2018 Leather with Pencil Holder - Stands at Any Angle - Cover for 3rd Gen 2018/2019 12.9 inch Apple

I had a CUVR case on my first gen 12.9” iPad, which I used for 4 years without a single damage incident even though it was dropped many times. When I upgraded to the 3rd gen 12.9” the CUVR was not available, so I had to find alternatives. The first I purchased was a bust. The second was not too bad, but was flimsy and would not stay in the desired position.CUVR got their new case available on Amazon the other day which I ordered and received today. As expected this CUVR fits the iPad perfectly. It stands the iPad in ANY desired position due to using a velcro base. It will not slip from this desired position, even on an unlevel surface such as the arm of a chair. The CUVR costs more than other cases but is worth the cost.

Love this case. It was between this and the ZUGU case (strong chemical smell). The Velcro any angle adjustment is very useful and stays in place. Other cases with just a groove constantly shift with pressure or movement. Pencil charges and there is a place to store the pencil when it is not charging. My only issue is the cover is not solid enough. It bends easily and if you use this in landscape mode and carry it around, you’ll see the cover curves up. I carry it by holding the iPad vs the base cover. Leather feels good and the interior is soft to touch. No chemical smell. I’m keeping this one.

This case is perfect for my needs. It’s made of high quality materials, while also smelling and looking great. The unique stand really needs to be experienced. It keeps the iPad Pro 12.9” sturdy at any angle. Perfect on a desk, lap and bed. I look forward to using it on the tray table during my next flight. It is a little on the thick side, but I feel it adds to the quality feel while carrying it around and allows the tablet experience to remain sturdy on any surface. It also feels like it will protect the tablet well in case of an accidental drop.I’ve tried other cases, including Apple’s Smart Folio and a few third-party options ranging from $20-$170 and this one is my pick for best case.

I have ordered the leather case for i pad pro 12.9". The quality of the leather is good and feel sturdy in hands. Product appearance elegant and is same as expected.However, I have the below two issues:1. Auto sleep function: I have expected my i-pad will go to sleep mode as and when I close the cover. But unfortunately, this function is not working.2. When i was trying to fit my i-pad into the case, it was very tight and took more than 5 minutes for me to fit into the case. I was very cautious as I did not want either my i-pad or the case to have marks on them. I can see a silver frame on one side and that to only for some portion. This means this is not a perfect fit for my i-pad but I can bear with that. Only worry is if I want to take my i-pad out of the case and re-install it. This gonna be a hectic task.Review Summary:The product that I received might be faulty but the quality of the leather is good and I am happy with that. The manufacturer's intention to deliver a better case is clearly understood from the design. If you do not want keyboard and looking for a leather case (it will make the i-pad little bulky), i would recommend to go for this.

Purchased the CUVR in black for a 3rd Gen 12.9 iPad Pro. It fits my iPad perfectly and will also let my Apple Pencil charge (the magnets are strong enough to connect through the case). The top grain leather finish looks great and even smells nice, too (if you like the way leather smells). It also hides fingerprints. Don’t believe the negative reviews.....I’m glad I didn’t!

Genuine cowhide, feels and smells good. Excellent design.I’m glad I did not buy one at the Apple store when I bought my iPad 12.9 Pro, as this one is Superior to the ones available there. Paired with a glass screen protector, I feel I’ve got a quality piece that I feel ok about traveling with.

I cannot get my 12.9 into the case and even if I could it is NOT designed to let the pencil charge. It's useless. Not sure why there are other high rated reviews. It is a HUGE disappointment.

This case unlike my case for my iPad Pro 1st generation is very sturdy and firmly stays in place when put in one of its many angles.
