Q: what is the width and length of table with leaves and without leaves?

38"W x 68.25" with out sleeves - 8'L with both sleeves. Just so you know, this item came in pieces . . a lot of pieces . . . I do not recommend this table as putting it together was a whole days work, and it came with no instructions, they had to email them to us. Its only been a short time and the quality is horrible. If you tighten the screws too much you run the risk of splitting the wood/particle wood, and if you don't tighten enough, you run the risk of it coming apart. Wish I could return and get my money back. But for the $ I guess you get what you pay for. Also, the surface scratches easily and you can't sand it down as it is a laminate . . . Disappointing -

Yes, even when the table is at it's smallest state, all four chair and bench fit comfortably. (1 chair at either end, 2 chairs on one side and the bench on the other.)
