Gorgeous color and soft comforter! I've been looking for a new bed set, and spent a long time looking before finally deciding on this, but with reservations. That said, going to answer the questions I had about this set before I bought it but decided to take the chance and buy anyway. First thing, the picture looks somewhat velvety, somewhat soft and shiny texture. I wasn't sure when I bought it of what the material would be like, whether it would be velvet like or just soft and shiny. Well, it is velvety and not shiny. Very soft. I'm typically not a "velvet" person, as lint and all kinds of stuff gets stuck up in it. So far though, I love this comforter and no problems with that. The reverse side of the comforter is maybe microfiber, a sheet like material. Second question I had before buying, the length of the comforter on all sides of the bed: I have a king. I wanted something where I would not need a bed skirt. This is long on all sides and so you need no bed skirt. It comes to the floor at the end of the bed, and on the sides, it comes to about 3 inches from the floor. It's very big and should sufficiently cover your bed all the way to the floor. Third question I had: The color on the advert was called scuba blue. For me, I'm trying to make my bedroom as much like a tropical beach as possible and also bought a wall decal to put above my bed of a huge picture of a caribbean beach/ocean. The way the color looks in the picture of this product, is very beautiful, but doesn't really seem like turquoise, but a more vibrant caribbean blue (think of what the ocean in Cancun looks like). The actual comforter compared to the picture, not as vibrant but a bit of a lighter color, and basically, just like regular turquoise or teal. Not to dissuade from buying, as it's still very beautiful and very ocean like, but the color is not quite as vibrant as in the picture. All in all, love this bed set!

This bedspread is soft and classy looking. I am really happy with it. I was tired of the comforters that required a bed skirt. I didn't want that look anymore, plus the comforter would slide around while sleeping at night. Comforters also lump up over time after a few washing's. I feel like I will be able to wash this bedspread and it will still be as good as new. This one is fairly thin but has good weight to it. I like that it drapes down to the floor. I first set it up lengthwise from side to side instead of top to bottom, so it was too long on the sides, but once i turned it, it fit perfectly. I don't know about the other colors, but the brown is very rich looking. 3/16/16 UPDATE- I bumped up from 4 to 5 stars. This bedspread is warm, soft and snuggly. I have washed it twice in my front loader washing machine. It washes great. No fading, clumping or pilling. It's perfect!

I purchased the Serenta Quilt set in king, and it's exactly what I expected. The color (green) is as pictured (a light olive), and it's a perfect size. My bed is about 32 inches high, and the quilt fits well, falling about 3-4 inches from the floor. The velvet fabric is medium weight and substantial, very soft. Finally, the workmanship is faultless as far as I can tell. It's a beautiful quilt set, reasonably priced, a good value. I highly recommend it.

The quality and the luxurious feeling of the bedspread were excellent. The top side is a lovely microfiber almost like velvet no pile but very soft. The underside is cotton. Personally I wanted the entire bedspread to be microfiber like velvet, however I love cotton and it is quite comfortable. The disappointing factor was the length. It is advertised as an oversized bedspreads showing it trailing to floor I have two different king beds I have placed it one and it doesn't come close to reaching the floor. One bed is high I would expect it but the other bed is a normal height and it still does not reach the floor. I am tired of trying to get items such as bedspreads or comforters that say they are super oversize and they still don't reach the floor. All in all it is a very nice product but the fact that it is supposed to be so oversize and still doesn't reach the floor is disappointing. On the other hand they do list the size in inches of the bed spread that according to my calculations it should touch the ground so in their defense they do give you measurements. Unfortunately product still does not reach the floor I wonder what the height of the bed is that they are measuring from.

Have been looking for a bedspread long enough to reach the floor for a queen bed. This oversized queen is perfect. The taupe color has a gold undertone which is perfect for the accent colors in the room. Love the softness and pattern. Washed well, just took a long time to dry on no/low heat. Hopefully won't have to wash it too often. Would purchase again if warranted.

I bought the comforter set for my guest room. I am absolutely in love with it! It is very luxurious. The color is perfect. The fact that is reversible is an added feature . Is like getting two comforters for the price of one. The craftsmanship is amazing! Absolute perfection! I needed a comforter to cover a high bed that has drawers underneath. This covers every inch of it am I am very pleased! Would buy it again snd again!

Order the queen-sized quilt set in brick. Color is orangy-brown (a little more orange than the photo appeared on my computer screen). It's soft, absolutely beautiful and entirely covers a queen sized mattress - with length on all sides to spare. This is not a coverlet. It is a bedspread that touches the floor. Excellent quality. Medium weight. Can fit any season, but the velvet is probably best suited for fall/winter. Very rich. I love it.

This bedspread is a really good buy. The quality is excellent and it is a perfect fit. We actually bought two, one for a California King and one for a Queen. Both are correctly sized. The colours are rich and the material is heavy and durable. Altogether, very satisfied on all counts.

Finally a real bed spread. It actually fits my bed. I ordered king for a Queen but the bigger size is perfect. The picture makes it look heavy. It's not. Bed still needs a blanket. I'm loving it. It didn't hurt that it was almost $100.00 off regular price.

The bedspread looks lovely on my bed, it's very soft and comfortable, would definitely recommend it.

Somewhat disappointed after washing my bedspread, I noticed the shams were not the king size shams which should have been included. They were standard. Having trouble trying to contact Amazon. I do not want to return the whole thing. Hoping just to replace the shams. Otherwise would have rated it higher. Beautiful rich colour.
