Westminster Oyster Cracker 150pc

So far, I can't find these crackers in western Oregon so here I am ordering them. Pro: I like the crunchiness and the bulk to this cracker because it takes a while for them to get soggy in a soup or chowder unlike some of the other crackers we have tried. Just like them much better than any brand that I can find in my local stores. Con: expiration date is 2 months away. Most crackers I have purchased at a grocery store have at least a 6 month expiration. Is this a clearing house for soon-to-expire foodstuffs!? Not pleased with that aspect of this purchase.

I had these at a restaurant and loved them so much that I decided to buy a whole box for myself! Now I hand them out to friends who come over too. These are the best oyster crackers on the market and great to snack on during the day, and much healthier than munching on potato chips or cookies. This should be the new American treat -- just the right amount of crunchiness, salt and taste, and made in America too! Thanks Westminster!

I love this brand of oyster crackers, however, the last couple of shipments were not as fresh as the earlier ones. The entire box does not make it through.

The product exceeds our expectations !! They are very fresh, crisp and even good for a snack too. We plan to keep ordering this product, we've already purchased (2) boxes. We find our national chain supermarket no longer offers these individual packets, the box full gets stale quickly as you open it many times before its all eaten vs. these individual packets.

I love the crackers because they are SOY FREE. The single size packages make it easy for me to take one or two as a snack because I am extremely limited in what I can eat when away from home due to a soy allergy. The only complaint that I have is that we had to order such a large quantity to get the single serving packages and even when we keep the box closed the crackers are getting stale in the packages. Probably because I just can't eat this huge quantity quickly and the small cellophane packages just are not as efficient as the boxed size which have better (waxed?) packaging. Next time we will get boxes with the wax liners and let the people who sell soup for a living have the single serving sizes since they can consume them much quicker.Can I freeze these crackers to help keep them fresh? I hate to have to throw them out....it would be a terrible waste.

The crackers were stale. I had to put them in the garbage. I call the vendor but got the answer machine. After 5 tries someone answered. She said to try some more packages and if they are all stale she would replace them. I hung up in and tried more over the next few days but was frustrated and didn't call back.

My 90 year old mom will hardly ANYTHING except this. I order them in the cases. We first tasted this in the deli at University of Alabama Hospital so I order them every month for her. They are that good. She eats them as her snacks
