Best rock and sand...barnone !!!
Best sand I've used since I began salt in the mid 80's. The bag I received last was 7 lbs shy. Otherwise it's top of the line product. I built a wall of liverock on top of a bed of this sand, topped off with RODI IO. A family member dumped nearly a full 30 grams of marine flakes then the current instantly sacked it under the surface, I tried every way of removing all I could. In no time the tank turned cloudy and here I just finished setting it up and this happened, after I did all I could I finally retired for the day. After my six hrs sleep I got up and went into the front room, naturally first thing I looked at the reef tank (I promise this is real and true) and I can't believe my eyes, I got up and went to the tank and the whole thing was crystal clear, all I had was the one foam filter block, the liverock and livesand, all purchased at Amazon.com ! Right away it told me the liverock and lives sand had to consume all of that massive dump of flake food. This happened within the past 4 - 5 months. I cannot believe it myself ! But it truly is true...I just cannot believe it's possible that it biologically consumed all that fish flake food within 5 to 6 hours as I slept. Good liverock and Good livesand! Excellent products Amazon !!!

Cute sand! But takes forever to clean
Note: Will probably update once I add plantsPretty sand! The little pink specs are cute and remind me of strawberry ice cream. I have a 10 gallon tank (20.1 inch L x 10.1 inch W, 12.8 inch H) and I got roughly 1.5 inch of sand to cover the bottom. (Sand is still wet in pictures). But dear god, it was an absolute pain to clean. It took maybe 20-30 minutes to get somewhat clear water and I’m sorry for the water bill.UPDATE (March 1st, 2020):Sand doesn’t look very pink from afar, but you can see if you look closely. My plants are doing well in the sand, though they sometimes will float up.

Great stuff, so long as you're aware of some issues.
Samoa pink is a beautiful light golden sand with pink shell flecks mixed in. It brings to mind tropical beaches along Caribbean coastlines, with a clean fresh look that will add a lot of "pop" to your saltwater aquascape. The Grade "0" sand is very fine, with a grain size of .5mm to 1.5mm. This is small enough for most sand sifters to glide in the sandbed effortlessly, but it's also easily blown around by high-energy powerheads. I recommend combining a bag of this with a bag of the grade "1" sand. Mix it evenly and you'll have an excellent substrate that will be much more likely to stay put.Two complaints regarding the Amazon order that folks should know about: First, the image provided is not what you'll get. Samoa pink is a much finer grain sand than whatever they chose to photograph....and the color is different also. Check online resources so you'll know what you're buying.Second, the listing is somewhat misleading. There is text in the description that makes you think you might be getting TWO 20-lb bags. Be aware that this listing is just for one 20-lb bag, just like the title says. You're not getting some crazy deal of 40 lbs for 20 bucks. But still.....a dollar per pound is a very reasonable price, and as usual Amazon shipping was super fast.

Great for reef tanks!
Great sand! I set up my new nano reef this week and this sand is perfect. It's not super fine like sugar so it stays in place unless you really stir it up. If you are going to add the sand to an established aquarium I recommend rinsing first with RO/DI water and then turn your pumps/powerheads off while you use a scoop to slowly dump it into the bottom to minimize clouding of the water. I didn't do this because I am a dummy but it was totally clear again the next day. Will buy again when I get another tank (It's always just one more tank)

Very fine, not white
Overall the quality of the sand is good. Out of the bag, the sand is clean for the most part. There was a good amount of debris but cleared up pretty quickly with my sump system. The biggest disappointment was the coloring of the sand. When the sand was dry it looked off-white, but once it was submerged in water the sand turned much more tan. The lighting on my tank made it look better, but the coloring is clearly tan. The sand leaves the tank fogged up for days. This is due to the sand being so fine. When I ordered "Nature's Ocean No.0 Bio-Activ Live Aragonite Live Sand for Aquarium, 10-Pound, Natural White", the sand was much more white and beautiful in color. My plan was to order half live sand and half dry sand by Nature's Ocean hoping they would both appear white, however there was a clear difference in color. If this product was advertised as it truly appears, then I would have been much more satisfied.

It actually is white...kind of!
Don't ask me how it happens, but when you put this sand in the tank it magically turns white. While it is in the bag and while you're washing it, you'd bet everything that it is going to be tan when you put it in. Somehow the aquarium light really whitens it up.The sand in the bucket is after I had washed it, and it went straight from there into the tank behind it. I swear it is the same sand!

Well it’s not white😒
I have been searching for white sand for my bettas home and thought that this was going to be it, but NOoOo. This is a light shade of brown just like your regular toy box sand😕. Don’t get me wrong it’s not bad as far aquarium sand goes, but If you’re looking for a pretty white colored sand this is not what you’d want.

Same Purchase, Same Company, Different Sand
I first purchased this sand in 2014 for use in a meditation garden. As you can see in the photo, it was super fine, bright white, and exactly as expected for No. 0 Marine Sand. Four (4) years later, I reordered the same sand for a smaller garden and immediately noticed a difference in quality. Per my photo, the 2018 sand purchase is in the white dish in the photo and one can clearly see that it is not as fine or bright white as the previous package. This new package has lots of black sand/debris and is much more tan in color. Maybe it comes from a different source. Many reviewers state this sand is a great purchase, and I believe if I didn't have a previous package in which to compare, I would also give it a higher rating. So, 5 stars for my first package, 3 stars for this one.
