Wax Women's Juniors Stetchy Mid Rise Denim Shorts

Love these! Flattering and comfy! I'm 5'4 145 and they fit perfect (size medium)

I am a mom of a 3yo and 9 month old, so I dont have the time to shop and try things on. I am usually hesitant to buy clothing online, but I first purchased WAX jeans/pants and they fit so perfectly (runner up was wallflower jeans) that I then ordered shorts when it got warmer. Loved the shorts so much that I bought another color in a different style. I have never been disappointed and sizing is consistent! Im 5'4" 128-132lbs and have thick thighs but small waistline, usually wear a size 5-9US depending on brand..(insane how far off most sizing is), but not these. These are true to size. These are the ONLY brand shorts (and pants from this brand) that have ever fit over my hips with no gap around my waist/back, but also has plenty of room to stretch around the waist. I ordered a SMALL this time because I will soon lose all of my pregnancy weight *fingers crossed* lol. They fit perfect, no "muffin top" as far as I can tell. Last time I ordered a size medium in this brand but in the style with 1 button and they fit perfectly as well, just less tight (not baggy though) and room if I gained weight, not that im trying lol. Theres enough stretch that you can size down if you have an hourglass shape. ALSO, you can cut the threads that hold the cuff in place and make them longer OR roll them and make them shorter and they still look great, like they were made that way! I have 2 kids, so I will wear these around the house/yard or to the beach or uncuff/unroll them. I fully intend on buying every style and color of these brand of shorts. Im addicted! I may not be in perfect shape, but this brand really helps me feel a bit better. Try them, return if you hate them. I spent so long writing this review bc I just love this brand so much! I paid full price, no strings attached, just in love!

They're not high waisted like the photo, unless you want your butt cheeks hanging out. They're really short. Too short in my opinion. Also, I'm a size 8 and I ordered a medium, but they were pretty tight, more like a 6.

Love them! They are so comfortable and look sexy! I bought a small, I'm 5'2 and 125lbs, it fits perfectly. Good material and really nice color.The only thing is that they were too short for my taste, but I unfolded the hem and gained about an extra inch in length and customized them with embroidered patches. It's taken me years to find a pair shorts that I truly like!!

Ordered black and super dark denim in these shorts. They run slightly small. I am between a 14/16 at 5'3" and 220 lbs. I usually wear an XL in bottoms, and after reading reviews, I decided to order one size up. 2XL in these shorts fit PERFECTLY with a bit of room to spare. I am very bottom heavy and have problems with pants fitting my waist and my giant thighs. These fit so well. They don't squeeze my thighs, I can move in them, and they don't gap at the waist. I'm so happy with these shorts. I ordered two more pairs (another black and another super dark) just in case.

I have thick muscular glutes and quads. I have an extremely hard time finding shorts. I'm 5'5 145 lbs 26 in waist 37 in hips and 23 in quads. Most of the time the legs of shorts are way too tight, there's a huge gap in the waist, my butt hangs out, or they crawl up my crotch. These shorts are perfect. I got a medium and they only gap a bit in the waist but they are far better than any other option so I can deal with it. I'm pretty sure a small wouldn't fit by legs and glutes. So for those with a more petite build I'd say size down one size for sure.

Fit how I expected it too. Really stretchy and comfortable with the hot weather here. Makes you're butt look pretty good too. Too my surprise it's not too short I'm about 5'7 and weigh 140lbs and struggle to find shorts that aren't to short. I was expecting to see my butt hang out of these but was pleasantly surprised to find it doesn't. Good buy if you struggle in that department.

Awesome shorts. They're stretchy, fitted, extremely comfortable (easy to move), and the design truly does flatter the butt and gives it a little pop. I'm a US size 8/10 (5'8" and 145-150lbs) and the large fits perfectly.
