Seth is the masters degree in channels
I love reading channeled material. I love the concept. Whether its just the authors imagination, or an actual entity speaking through a medium, Im fascinated by the concepts.I read many different channeled authors at one period in my life. They're fun, good for some personal growth ideas. And then there's Seth.Seth's concepts are not cutsy fables, presented by a channel for light reading.Seth is like the Noam Chomsky of channels. His writing is of such a magnitude and quality of depth, that he leaves other channels far behind.I enjoy having my mind blown by powerful concepts. Even taking them as purely theoretical. I found just checking his world view out enriched my experience of my own life profoundly. You don't need to think of any of it as "the TRUTH" or "THIS is the WAY". There's a million points of view out there. I just found Seth's point of view absolutely fascinating, well expressed, and worth the time to read.If you're someone who loves ideas for the sake of ideas, and want a very empowering way to view the world, read Seth.At all times his words seek to place one in touch with ones own power. He speaks to encourage individuals to take full responsibility for their own beliefs and to take responsibility for ones own life. His books aren't "new age fluff". They are not "oh just think positive."These are very real, very genuine essays on how to truly face ones own life. He is very aware of how nuanced our minds are at hiding from ourselves. He's like the best wise man of the village. These pages are full of loving empowering wisdom, a humorous poking at our egoism and limited beliefs.

I am a fan of the Seth books.
I am always going to be a fan of the Seth books. This book was published years after Jane was gone, but it was written during the beginning stages of Seth-Jane relationship. This book is different from the others, simply because Jane narrates it as her own experience, instead of the usual session format of the Seth books. I loved hearing Jane's voice as she described her exciting journey into the dream world and talked about her astral-projection experiences. The whole subject is fascinating to read; if you believe Jane really delved into the dream world, or not.Whatever your beliefs are, this book is both highly entertaining to the mundane as well as the scientific mind, for it leaves no doubt that Jane/Seth were highly intelligent and approached both metaphysical and scientific subjects with an objective--sometimes even empirical--mind. Yet, I have come to believe by reading this last book (at least for me--I have read them out of order) that a true scientist must sometimes open his mind to the world of the unexplained, and remember that magic is simply science we have yet to understand.

THIS SETH BOOK UNBELIEVABLY TAKES YOU TO LEVELS OF CONSCIOUNESS THAT I NEVER DREAMT OF
Having read most of the Seth Books since the 1970s I couldn't believe there was anything more to learn as they covered almost everything about this universe, other dimensions, our ego, our sub conscious. Plus, so much more that the books have blown my mind. BUT I WAS WRONG this has taken knowledge to a new level. I am now doing the exercises suggested in the book and my life is truly changing. I now expect every day to meet someone new that is going to help 'change the view of this world that I have created'. I can't stop photo copying pages and sending to friends with new insights. Am going to order more copies to give away.

For those into the "Seth" books, you may want to check out this book.
When the “Seth” books first came out I was totally into science and philosophical objective principles and rejected anything to do with mysticism. Now that I am well into my senior years, I have explored other more esoteric realms such as energy healing methods, Tai Chi, Qigong, Yoga, Zen, Taoism, Quantum Physics and related topics.I decided recently to check out the “Seth” phenomena and while browsing online I came across this 385-page soft cover volume (Seth, dreams, and projections of consciousness by Jane Roberts, an introduction by Robert E. Butts) on Amazon for a bargain price.I just finished reading this book and I admit that parts of it were very interesting; however, for the most part I was somewhat mystified and not very impressed with the material in this volume. I admit that it may be because I was unfamiliar with Jane Roberts and her transformation into the mystical persona of “Seth.” In any case, I plowed into this book and finished reading all of it in hopes of better understanding “Seth’s messages.” I do agree that everything in the universe is “energy” and we human mortals are part of this same energy source; however, I am not sure what that is supposed to mean for humankind and the future. I also enjoyed the author’s poetry because I am also into various kinds of poetry. In fact, I would have liked to read more of her poetry, but she has passed on from this realm. This large book is organized into three parts with a total of 22 chapters. Part one covers “Intrusions from the interior universe: A subjective journal.” Part two focuses on an “introduction to the interior universe.” The third part explains the “exploration of the interior universe. Investigation of dream reality.” There is also an epilogue covering “A personal evaluation.”In conclusion, if you are into the books about “Seth” written by Jane Roberts you will probably like this book a lot.Rating: 4 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Zen Poetry Moments: Haiku and Senryu for special occasions).

Best hidden knowledge of all times
I came across the Seth books during my early years of searching for the unknown...I was really mesmerized by them. Now some 20 years later they hold more knowledge than all the esoteric books I've read. Just finished 3 of Seth's books again.. and I m speechless....I recommend reading them to glimpse into our real nature

Interesting book by JANE ROBERTS including extensive quotes from SETH
This book by Jane Roberts (JR, American poet, author, psychic; 1929-1984) was written 1966/7 (before most of the Seth books) but published 1986. It's about lucid dreams - where the dreamer's conscious of dreaming - and JR's exploration of out-of-body experiences (the word “projection” referring to consciousness going beyond normal experience); there are lengthy quotations from Seth.It has a domestic flavour as JR refers often to her husband (Robert Butts, artist; 1919-2008) and day-to-day events in and around their home in Elmira NY State. It's probably best read after one's acquired some knowledge of Seth who, “an energy personality essence”, channeled through JR. E.g., read “Seth Speaks” or “The Unknown Reality”; JR and Seth are the creme-de-la-creme of channeled sources. The quotes from Seth are consciousness-expanding, e.g., the final chapter (“The Inside of Consciousness”) contains a hugely impressive sketch of how consciousness operates, how different realities have different root assumptions (governing premises of different existence-systems), and how consciousness can access other realities e.g., in dreams. Seth also mentions e.g., that: all boundaries (between realities) are for practical purposes only; that entities create stages on which to act out problems (all the world's a stage); that “all versions of an event are actualised”; and every moment in time is a door into other dimensions of actuality. And what's the advantage of struggling to develop one's dreaming? Well it's to expand awareness and one's capabilities, and to learn about what is.
