Blacksmith Anvil Hardy Cutter Tool 3/4 inch shaft

Tough part about hardy tools is that they are typically custom made. Why? Every anvil is different. Sure, this just might drop right into your hardy, but chances are it won't. Be prepared to do some filing on your hardy if you've never had another hardy tool. You'll need to do some grinding to this butcher. But, with a lil bit of work, it'll fit and work out for you. I was tempted to toss it into the forge and shape to fit, but without exact info on type of steel being used, I was hesitant.

It came with virtually no edge so had to grind one and it looks like a hunk of steel someone found and just kind of rough cut to a triangle. But after putting the edge on it does its job

Fits nice and snug, two blows and she is cutting through quarter inch like a hot knife through butter.

This was a gift for husband. He was pleased.

Works great. Of course, it needed a slight adjustment to fit in the Hardy hole in my vise, but with that tweak it works like a champ.
