Way to Inner Peace

Fulton J Sheen is a well-known name and is on the road to canonization now. This particular book I found very easy to read and inspirational. The segments are short enough that you can sit down and read every day. I also got a Copy for my mom.

Sheen is, as always, an amazing orator. Even through text his manner of speech always manages to shine through and inspire. This book is no exception, and probably my absolute favorite of his. Very true to its title.

If true wisdom, understanding and self-improvement for eternity is what you are after, you must hear and read Fulton Sheen works. You will notice that many of todays' scholars are "plaggerizing" his works.

The author writes exceptionally well for a lay person to understand if given the time to digest and reflect on his words. An excellent read and the concepts presented are so applicable today considering the turbulence taking place in our society.

For a book of philosophy written in 1949, it's words of wisdom are apropos for 2015. Very wise and very readable.

Fulton Sheen does his usual fantastic job of bring a message of Faith, Hope and Charity into a world that much needs these virtues.

I love everything that Fulton Sheen writes. Sometimes he will make you cringe as you see yourself and other times he will make you smile, as you realize what pearls of wisdom he has given you. This book is illuminating and is a guide to freedom and peace. His words are prophetic, and his words, though written half a century ago are as fresh today as they were then. He truly is a Saint in the making. Some of the great Saints are quite difficult for the lay person to read but he writes for the modern man and shows us the pitfalls we are unwittingly digging ourselves into. I have bought extra copies to give to friends. I recommend his books to everyone as a must read.

An easy to read book that can be picked up and 'snacked' on, or read from cover to cover many times. Useful for meditators!
