Valco Baby Single Tri-Mode EX Stroller in Raven

I purchased this stroller in 2009 for my first child. I absolutely love this stroller. It has so many bells and whistles that it comes with (rain cover, bumper bar, head snuggler) as well as others that can be purchased separately (universal cup holder, snack tray, bassinet). I was inspired to write a review after seeing another one complaining about the size of the storage basket. I have gone grocery shopping with this stroller and found the basket more than acceptable to carry... gallon of milk, veggies, chicken breast... about 2 medium bags of groceries. Then I stop by the dry cleaner and drape my husbands work shirts over the sun canopy and walk home... with my 42lb toddler happily munching on snacks from her additional snack tray. I also purchased the full bassinet to turn the stroller into a pram. It is fabulous, probably one of the best on the market. What I love about my tri mode, is the quality, attention to detail and durability. My stroller looks and functions like it's brand new after 3 years. There are extra storage pockets on the side of the basket. There is a zip off pouch which can hold lots of necessities. The sun shade can tip all the way down to the snack tray. The recline is so simple. The fold is easy and has a safety latch in case of user error. The adjustable handle bar is great for adults or toddlers to easily push. The seat is comfortable and roomy. My toddler has been in the 95th percentile for height and weight and she has plenty of room. The fabric is very durable and has kept its color without fading... a surprise since we're in southern California. I originally was looking at a Bob stroller. I am so glad that i came across this stroller before purchasing that. The Valco is like a highly functional limousine of all terrain strollers. I would definitely purchase another Valco Baby product.
