I had the plastic ones and they stretch out from weight of blouses and do not work after a while. These are more compact and nice. One thing is beaware of thickness of your hanger -a fat plastic one does not fit in slot.

Says can hold of to 12 hangers but when one side is dropped to save space the top hangers drop or fall off. The divider between both groves isn't long enough to hold the hanger above. It's a great idea to hold 12 but if they can't stay then it shouldn't be advertised that it can hold 12 hangers.Update 7/27/19Had to buy skinner hangers because I can't take the normal hangers and just drop then in, I have to slide them in from the side. Then to remove I have to fight to remove the hanger. I kept them because they are not plastic and don't bent with stuff on it. And still I would not use all 12 spots, not enough room. :-(.

I love these hangers. I had plastic ones previously which did not last and created a mess in my closet when they broke.These are perfect!

If you have a nice tall closet this is perfect. Unfortunately it didn’t really work out for me that much. My closet is short and all the clothes just bunched up on the bottom. But the quality is very very good and they are easy to use.

Would not recommend this product. We use plastic hangers (as most people do now) and they will not fit on this. I wish that it was specified in the description. Very disappointed.

This might be metal, but they still struggle to hold jeans, they bend and feel like they are about to break

These are good metal hangers. I was using the plastic ones, but they broke so easily under the weight of my clothes. These seem very sturdy and are slimmer than the plastic ones.
