Tastes smokey
Tastes like clean smoke. I got die off symptoms after 3 days & stopped. I have tried the oregano oil & had insane die off symptoms as well. It definetly works. I am treating it for what appears to be chronic EBV (epstein barr virus). My spleen has been swollen for about a year & the lymph in my nodes in neck as well. Chronic fatigue led me to a 24hr cortsiol test, which determined I was in adrenal fatigue. I also am also hypothyroid & have low progesterone (hello endocrine system)... I'll try this again once I am prepped to be down for a little because of the die off. Also, look into drinking clay mixed in spring water. Negatively charged & goes through the body like a magnet & attracts all the positively vely charged things (viruses, heavy metals, parasites etc are positively charged). Zero die off symptoms with clay, just have to take away from medications.

Works well for me and my cat!
Works great! This is my go-to gentle natural antibiotic for myself and my cat. I put a few drops in his wet food when he's got sniffles or gut issues. I will use this when needed first before going to heavy-duty oil of oregano.IMO, Pau d'Arco is MUCH more effective than echinacea. It is a very undersung natural antibiotic and antifungal.

This particular product is now a dog supplement kitchen staple
I'm just about to order 2 more bottles. I use this product for Rita who has a lipoma (no, not as serious as the lymphoma mentioned by another reviewer) in a location where surgery is not possible - well it's possible but a very bad idea as the stitches would pull and she'd end up with a serious infection in all probability. So I decided to go the extract route with Pau D'Arco, burdock, and milk thistle. She also gets herbal capsules but they don't contain Pau d'Arco and I'm pretty sure the extract is more effective.I've waited to leave a review on the first 2 bottle we've used because I wanted to make sure we had positive results. I know we'll probably never get rid of the lipoma and that wasn't the goal (only a secret, private silly hope) but it has reduced in size which means she can move more easily.I'm going to reread some of these reviews because there are helpful ideas there.BTW, I take a ball of moist dog food (you can also use peanut butter or whatever) depress the center, add a few drops of Pau D'Arco and close it up so that Miss Elegant can't turn up her nose at it. All supplements are given this way and this is the way both dogs are used to being fed.

Amazing stuff
I ordered this for incorporation into a sinus rinse I was concocting. I am attempting to duplicate a sinus wash product that works great, and it contains Pau D'Arco as one of the ingredients. One thing I discovered right off the bat is that this Pau D'Arco solution is NOT water soluble. Hence the glycerine (or alcohol) used to act as a solvent. I found if I dropped some into DI water, the droplets would not dissolve. However, it does seem to be quite soluble in Aloe Vera juice (100 % pure, not gel), and the formulation I am trying to duplicate also contains quite a bit of aloe vera. When added to the aloe vera, it dissolves nicely, and stays in solution when the aloe vera is added to the 1% saline and xylitol in the nasal rinse. But the nasal rinse is not the amazing application I found for this stuff. I have some weird skin lesions on my scalp that are part scar tissue from a wound I got when I was a child. A section of this tissue is dark in color and bleeds at times, especially if irritated when the area is shaved. None of the OTC creams or antibiotic lotions, or aloe vera gel, work in healing this tissue. I decided to try the Pau D'Arco after reading about it's healing properties. I mixed about 5-10 drops in a teaspoon of aloe vera juice and applied the mix with a Q-tip to the dark colored tissue. Covered with a band aid with the pad soaked in the aloe solution and treated once a day for about a week. After a week's time the dark tissue was completely gone, no more bleeding. I was blown away, as I have been living with this nuisance off and on for most of my life.Like I said, amazing stuff.

Potent for Candida
If you are reading this, you likely know what this is used for. Oh boy does this work! Very potent. I still have over half of a bottle left and am in great shape. I did a cleanse last November and switched between this and grapefruit seed extract (the one in the little round bottle not oblong). I was more fatigued and sick while going through the cleanse but it felt exactly like everyone says it will... headaches, terrible headaches. But, after finishing the cleanse and then healing leaky gut with bone broth, I am not craving sugar anymore and some other issues are better. Good health to you
