Some tips:- Steam the canvas with a clothes steamer before starting in order to remove the creases from shipping.- The brushes are better quality than some other kits I have used, but they will still shed. It should last you through the whole painting but if you have other fine tip brushes probably use those.This was fun to paint with nice bright colors. Like other reviewers have noted, some of the paint was dried and not usable. Some were drying and needed be rehydrated—I added some water to these pots and they were ok. Also, luckily I had some other acrylic paint on hand to mix the same colors to make up for the dried ones. Something other may want to consider before buying. Overall turned out great though!

This was my first paint by numbers painting and loved completing this one 😁 I didn’t use the paintbrushes that this set came with. I ordered a brush set by ‘Artsitk’ which I purchased from Amazon that I used to paint my painting. Highly recommend that set. I am sure there are better brushes out there but this set worked for me. I purchased the one with the ready frame from Komking. It was nice to carry it around in the cardboard box with a handle if I was painting away from home. None of my paint pots were dried. Didn’t have any trouble with any of my paint pots. Actually ended up with more than I needed. I could have gone over some areas again but didn’t realize that until later. Lessons learned that I will take with me to my next paint by numbers set. If you notice your paint getting dry from having the pot open too long…just add a touch of water. I use clean water in a cup and dip a clean brush in the water and then have the drop of water drip into the paint pot. I found that 3 drops is good to get the paint moist again. You can use a paper clip to mix it in the paint pot. Don’t recommend using a brush to mix it because then you get globs of paint on it and then have to use it up when it doesn’t come off the brush. I ordered my painting in September 2021. I could have finished it earlier but life/work just got busy. There were a couple areas that I didn’t agree with the color number so I painted to what I felt like would suit best in that spot. It’s your painting…do what is best for you. Have fun!!

I was so excited for this paint by numbers to come in, the picture looks gorgeous. I opened my first color to get started and the paint is horrible. It is chunked together and hard to spread on the painting.

Turned out great. Received everything needed, but beware…unless you have better than perfect eyesight you are going to need a magnifying glass to see the numbers. It’s very detailed and colors change in very close proximity.

Paint was fresh, but I did use paint extender a few times. Very relaxing.

Been having a difficult time getting back into painting. Let me tell you, these paint by numbers are fantastic so far. Gives me an easy target to paint and baseline, then go back in and work on shading etc. Colors are a bit off, but if you understand how they make these kits it's kinda understandable. Getting the right combo of limited colors to get the right amount of definition is tough. I feel like these did the original picture justice. Pro Tips: Get reading glasses, I don't care how young your eyes are, it helps (unless your nearsighted, if that's the case, this is defin the hobby for you!!); buy some better brushes (they don't have to be pricey, I did this full painting with a tiny spotter brush); keep the reference picture and the black and white print out handy while painting, it's easy to get lost after you've done a section and the blue and purple start to get tough to follow late in the painting; if your paint dries out, just add a drop of water, it will loosen up the flow nicely; if you have an old canvas frame, even if it's painted, you can take this canvas and staple gun it over to have a good surface to paint on...I think that's about it. I'd give this a 4 out of 5, since it is a bit difficult at first. This was my first paint by number, and it took me about 2 months in between work and other hobbies. So really not a bad gift for first timers either.Happy painting!!!

This was our first paint by numbers kit. My husband and I worked on this together for a couple of hours every evening, so between the both of us, it took about 12.5 hours altogether. A few notes on the "Colorful Balloon" kit:- The brushes included were not as bad as I thought they might be! We still ended up using brushes I already had on hand to get a finer tip, but it probably still would've been fine with the included brushes. The wide brush was excellent for the large blue area.- The acrylic paints included were mostly fine. We had no issues with the texture or volume (there was more than enough to complete the painting), but I knocked a star off here because some of the colors were just really off from the reference picture. The worst offender was probably the bright neon green color (pictured in some of the existing customer photos), but I was able to correct this by mixing it with one of the muted blue paints to get closer to olive green. Same with the dark green that was a bit too bright; I mixed it with some of the muted purple paint to get a nicer dark olive.- The canvas was good quality. The creases from the folds eventually eased up after painting and keeping it flat for a few days. The size of the painting is probably good for 2 people to work on collaboratively if you're looking to do this as a date night activity; 3 people might be kind of tight.

I unboxed this on my Twitch streams and found out that some of the paint was dry. I reached out to the shop and they were super understanding and sent me a complete replacement even though I only asked for the paint. Was able to get the painting done within the next few days afterward. Thank you once again!

I didn't know what to expect but wanted something to do with my spare time and chose this, based on reviews. Honestly it was much better than I thought it was going to be. Quality wise it was clearly printed out, its on a canvas which if you can frame will pull out the folds, the numbers are clear, if small in some places. I recommend a magnifying glass in some places. The paint is acrylic and goes on smoothly. and in some places needs a couple of layers but, I did my whole picture in a few days with lots of paint left over. You get 3 brushes one for detailing the other for the larger area and one for everything else. I am a beginner in painting so it was great for me.

Painting by numbers is something I do to relax. This picture was the first dark toned picture I have done and it came out the best! I am now hooked on doing darker pictures. Plenty of paint for each number and 3 pots of black to do the grey areas was plenty - I had more than enough to do black right up to edge of the canvas all around the picture. I highly recommend this picture, it was a very satisfying result.

This caught my eye and i thought why not, haven't painted for a while so thought i would give paint by numbers a try. This is it, not completely finished but nearly there. You get lots of colours, just the right amounts. Only quibble is paintbrushes, they are okay and do the job but not perfect. Would purchase separate brushes next time

I wish the suppliers of these things would listen to feedback. I have bought a few PBNs from various suppliers and almost every one has the same issues. Most common is the way the canvas is folding, this particular canvas was so badly creased that it was almost holed! Ironing made no difference. The second issue is the inconsistency of the acrylic paint, some are viscous and needs water adding, others are OK and some needs several coats to even cover the numbers. This one has all three and it's bloody annoying and takes much of the pleasure out of the painting process. I have managed to get round the problems as I am doing this one as a present but next time, back it goes...

This numbers and outline are printed on a nice weight canvas. The paints are all labelled well. The paint brushes are good quality two thin and a thick Ker one for larger areas. The picture is like the house in up. As you can see I have only just started painting the canvas but it is easy to follow and relaxing to do. Some of the numbers are quite small so you may need a magnifying glass or there is a paper print that is clear but again numbers are quite small. Looking forward to completing this. Great product at a good price.
