Good actor piece for all characters.
If you're looking for a play to work on, this is a great for a few reasons. First of all, all three of the main characters ( 2M, 1F) have great material. Second, it's new enough that you haven't seen it done a million times. Third, it raises all kinds of moral questions, but it doesn't seem to be pushing an agenda.I'm also a big fan of stories that address serious or dark material without losing lightness. This is FUNNY, even when it's going heavy. Also, even though the characters are written as 30's, I think it would work for 22-early 40's.Good stuff.

Good way to find play
I had seen a story on the CBS news about Paul Rudd & Ed Asner doing this play in New York. I wanted to read the play after seeing the story. I could not find I at the Library in Los Angeles, and my "drama" bookstore did not carry it. So I bought it through Amazon, and got free shipping... Very pleased with Amazon. Still thinking about play after reading it ....

A Good Play... But Depressing
I read this cover-to-cover on a plane ride back home. I'm currently looking for future shows to direct for a little theatre that I am working with. I wouldn't rule this one out. It is very funny in places. However, the subject matter is a bit "blue". I thought the playwright did a good job with the characters, but not a very good job with the clarity of what is really being said. It's one of those plays you really need to read at least twice. If you are an atheist or agnostic thespian, this play may appeal to you.

Timely yet universal
What a beautifully-written and timely play. Craig Wright writes about things our country is presently struggling with - religion, faith, scams, science, gun violence, environmental factors - and yet the play also feels universal. I plan to read more of his work after this.

a human (i.e. combination of sad and amusing) look at what it means to be human
Grace has an interesting circular structure which suggests the cycle of our lives from birth to death. It addresses profound questions without being maudlin...and as I said in my headline, at times it's very funny. I was both pleased and surprised by how balanced it was. Craig Wright does not disappoint here.

Good price and disturbing but powerful play!

wordless.
Saw this play a few days ago on Broadway, with an excellent cast. Absolutely took my breath away, as well with the rest of the audience. Had be on the edge of my seat in the first 30 minutes, and absolutely have to buy this. It's true that the message isn't clear. Is Wright trying to say that you need faith? Or that you are better off without it? I found while I was questioning the meaning, it really puts you in the place of his characters. It's almost very beautiful this way: it does not jump out and tell you the author's opinion in the same, preachy manner of a certain main character. It let's you find out on your own. Absolutely beautiful play, and better than most movies I've ever seen. Cannot wait to own.
