I was recommended to drink neem tea by a Caribbean friend of mine and her mother. I would drink this on an empty stomach in the morning and it some how made my mind so clear. The reason I started drinking it was because I have psoriasis, which is an auto immune disease, which has been linked to the gut microbiome. I am NOT a doctor and can't give medical advice but speaking anecdotally, I think this is a great buy even for my mental clarity. I didn't see much of a difference with my psoriasis, but I did feel a great sense of mental clarity and reduced brain fog, so I drink it daily now. Again this is just my experience, for the price I think it's worth a shot. Now for the taste, probably the worst part of this product, but it's not just this specific brand of version. All neem tea has a particularly unpleasant taste but I got used to it. I would steep a bag in hot water then try to drink it slowly.

Yes its strong even though I add peppermint tea to it also. Because its strong I only do half cup, let cool down a little then take it like a shot. It absolutely keeps baby showers away. LOL Effective family planning just like the oil and the crush leaf capsule too. I do have hubby take a cup sometimes but a capsule is easier for him. Very healthy for blood building also and nice price.

If you're looking for a delicious tea, avoid neem tea. If you're looking for a medicinal tea, neem is for you. All of the bad reviews are based on taste it seems. Yet the medicinal benefits of neem are many - Antimicrobial, antibacterial, anti parasite, anti cancer. This is the real deal neem tea!

This is a tea you drink for the health benefits. No one would casually drink this tea or serve it to guests after dinner or for breakfast. For those complaining it's too bitter I would suggest a sugar detox because your taste buds are desensitized and anything with no sugar in it tastes bitter. It's no more bitter than true green tea. Neem is magical. I've been using the oil for years and now happy to have the tea to use when I need the health boost. I steep it covered with a dish for 5 min. Did none of those people complaining it was too bitter think of adding a dash of stevia or local honey to it? They'd rather rate with low stars and b*#ch and moan hahaha.

Man...you guys weren't kidding! I actually brewed this with red rooibos and flavored herbal teas and used it in my smoothie, but the bitterness was still very, very prominent. I'm hoping I will get over it like the fishy taste of spirulina. Neem has too many health benefits to cast aside, though. I may brew it for less time, but I won't stop using it. UPDATE: I have gotten used to the bitterness. So much so that I drink this tea daily now, never remove the tea bags, and have reordered several times. Adding sweetener helps but does not entirely mask the bitterness.
