Deluxe Shoe Care Kit

This kit is a must have for your Birkenstocks! It doesn’t change the color of your leather and suede clogs and sandals, and cleans your footbeds adequately and quickly with the included brush. The cork sealant works great and is long lasting as well. Very effective and easy to use. Dries quickly and doesn’t leave a sticky residue. I will continue to use and repurchase.

Warning: gross, blood mentioned I did a seriously stupid thing. I went to have ingrown toenail surgery on both sides of one of my toes. I wore my brand new Birkenstocks. I’ve had the surgery before and don’t remember bleeding so much. By the time I drove home from the doctor my toe and shoe were saturated in blood. The footbed was soaking wet. I first used Dawn dishwashing soap and water to get it off. It looked better but was very stained. I looked on Amazon and decided to purchase this. It worked great. I used the cleaning spray along with both sides of the brush. The footbed looks wonderful, not 100% perfect but so much better. The footbed still feels soft too. I have not used the other products yet. The only downside is there could be some better instructions. I watched some videos online that helped. Really glad I purchased this.

The product arrived quickly. There were no paper instructions, but there were directions on the sides of the bottles. I didn’t like the way the products smelled but that is just something I noticed. As you can see by the pictures, there cleaner did a good job of cleaning the footbed. I used the brush to scrub the footbed with the cleaner then wiped out with a clean cloth. The cork spray made the sides nice and shiny. I have applied the water and stain repellent but haven’t tested it out yet. I will say that the bottoms of the white straps that had red mud on them did not come out with the cleaner. I had to use a Mr. Clean magic eraser. Overall good product.

Good value for the components included in this kit, but you may not need them all. Completely insufficient instructions make it hard to know it, but after much searching online, it seems that only the refresher should be used on the suede footbed of the classic Arizona/Milano/etc. sandals, followed by using the eraser side of the brush/eraser tool. The cork sealer and stain repellant are only for the sides of the footbed. The brush looks nifty, but according to Birkenstock, it shouldn't go anywhere near the footbed (it will scratch the suede). The refresher was moderately effective. The eraser side isn't well sized or shaped to clean the curved parts of the footbed effectively (which is most of the footbed area). See my before-and-after pictures: the reduction in staining was barely noticeable, though the sandals did smell better afterward. This despite wearing down about a third of the eraser. In the future, I will do what Birkenstock's own website recommends for the footbed: use leather shampoo and an old toothbrush.

Bought with our first pairs to treat and maintain the leather. It was very easy to use all bottles are clearly marked and labeled and has helped the overall durability of our shoes!

Very nice little kit. Used for waterproofing suede and removing a scuff from light pink suede.

Decided to get this to give my Birkenstocks a little "service" and I must say they looked fantastic afterwards. If you're interested in treating your footwear as an investment rather than an expenditure or consumable then this is the perfect set or gift.

Very happy with this selection … all easy to use and ready when the need arises either for maintenance or an emergency clean up job

Product arrived early and was exactly what I expected. My Birkenstocks look like knew.
