The package arrived exactly when they said it would. I was so happy, I tore open everything before I thought to take a photo. It was wrapped with such care. I didn't know the pages were going to be edged in gold. I am very pleased with this company. The hymnal is filled with songs that my grandmother, and mom used to play. I am very happy with the hymnal.

Would have like a large print addition but this seems to be a fine hymnal for setting on the piano stand.

This is a fantastic hymn book. The page edges are gilded. The organ and piano friendly binder lies nice and flat. Many old favorites - so many that it will take quite awhile to see if any good ones were left out. I am a life long church musician. I can tell you that the songs here are drawn from many sources. It's a multi dimensional music book. Any Christian Church can use this hymnal - it's not Baptist specific. Quite a bargain, and will be a treasured resource.

I'm learning to play new church songs.

This is the hymnal used in our church. I thought it would be neat to own our copy and have at my finger tips not only songs we sing in church today, but songs I was taught as a young child. I can't believe the price is so reasonable! My kids are learning to play instruments, so maybe they can accompany us one day as we have our own little worship service - who knows. The big thing is we have so many current and historical songs at the ready, can ensure we are singing the actual words as they were written (surprising how many songs I have twisted the words around in), and something that brings hymnal singing from a Sunday only activity to something we can do at any time.
