Terrible!
The shipment arrived with many broken pieces floating around in the box - typewriter was nowhere near working order! I would have given this 0 stars if it would have let me! The only thing that was good about this experience was that it was a no-hassle return.

I cannot give the 5-star recommendation, because in the short time I've had the IBM typewriter, it is already giving me problems. It will not backspace, which is a feature I really need when I'm addressing birthday and anniversary cards to church seniors. After the holidays, I need to find out what I can do to correct this problem.

what a joke!
Package was falling apart when I received it. 4 of the keys had fallen off, loose in the package. The only characters it would type was "1" or "7", regardless of which key was depressed!
