One small issue away from perfect
Its a high quality brace in every single way, it immobilizes my knee as good as the bigger bulky brace from my doctor. but it does have one flaw. The strap right above the knee rubs against the skin. The padding under the strap doesn't cover the skin so the rough nylon strap will rub against the skin. It doesn't matter how you adjust the strap, it will either rub, or velcro wont stick. I dont think it will be a big deal for most people since we will likely wear the brace over our pants. But this is definitely a small design flow that could've even avoided with better planning

This is a MUST HAVE for SLEEP.
This is was a real SLEEP saver....I injured my knee and was unable to keep my leg straight while I slept. The pain was horrible when I bent my leg. This immobilizer is super, it keeps my leg in the straight position while sleeping, which, is speeding up the recovery. I am 5'2' tall and the 12 was the perfect size. Light weight and well padded.

Quality equal to the cost, mods make it better
My knee "exploded" six weeks ago, and they gave me a brace at the emergency room that was similar in design to this one. The best thing to keep my knee calmed down is to wear a brace all night long, when I'd usually be hurting the joint every time I roll over. So I needed something that would fit comfortably through the night, as well as keeping the knee reasonably immobile through the day. It'll be over a month until my knee replacement surgery. That's 20 hours a day for three months, which requires a much greater quality than what they gave me at the ER. I was impressed with the comfort and quality as soon as I opened the package. The foam padding is pleasant and keeps anything from rubbing, the stays along the side and back are reasonably well encased (unlike the ER version, where they wore through the ends and started stabbing me), and the velcro has little grab-tabs at the ends to be able to peel up and adjust easily--something that was driving me nuts with the old brace. The fact that my knee swells up on a regular basis means that I must adjust the straps without fiddling around, and I sometimes open up the brace just enough to slide an ice pack in there, then use the straps to hold it in place. I have a habit of adjusting things to suit my preferences, so I sewed on a few improvements. The main thing was that I sewed on some straps to run up to a belt, to hold the brace in place rather than having it slide down. They all tend to do that, working their way toward your ankles, and if I could crank the strap down hard above the knee that would be controllable, but part of the exploded-knee was a pocket of swelling right underneath my quadriceps, so cranking those straps down hard isn't an option. The straps going up from the top of the back stays, the top of the outside stay, and the side of the inside stay are able to keep the brace in place whether I'm in bed or up crutching around. If you can sew with even just needle and thread and can get your hands on some nylon strap, this is a worthwhile thing to do while you're laying around waiting for the pain meds to kick in. After my knee replacement (actually a re-replacement, so I know the drill already) I know I will NEED this brace desperately AT NIGHT. During the day, it's PT and walking and bending the knee on purpose. But at night, when rolling over, any side-to-side motion of the knee joint is hell on earth! I'm looking forward to using this brace then, to make it so I can actually sleep when I'm recovering from surgery.

Better than ER Brace and fit for Shorter Legs
On 7/6 I fractured my tibial plateau on my right leg. I'm 5’4”. The ER-provided me a 24” brace that was so long it went from my crotch to my ankle, so unbearably uncomfortable. I managed to tolerate that for 2 days then ordered this one based off of reviews. The 16” length is so much more tolerable and comfortable especially for sleeping. It is made of a cotton material instead of foam which is more comfortable. It isn't slip-proof but I have thick thighs, almost 27” circumference 6” above the knee, so I'm not sure any brace will be slip proof, I did find that wrapping some self-adhesive bandage wrap on my leg below my knee helps keep the brace more in place for a bit longer. It also stays in place a bit better if the wrap can be put on skin vs clothing. Also making the straps under the knee tighter than around the thigh helps with slipping. It does keep my knee from bending which is my goal. I'm not super pleased with the quality as I've only had it for a little over a week and the straps are starting to fray around the edges and some of the velcro is becoming weak especially around the side bars. It was fairly easy to adjust and size when first receiving. Every other day or so I notice I have to make some size adjustments. And it seems as of day 9 of use its becoming weaker and weaker causing me to do more adjusting than I wish. I'm not sure this will fully hold up for another 6 weeks so hopefully I get to upgrade to a hinged brace soon! All in all this is a better choice than the hospital provided brace and I'm not mad I got it. It has assisted in more comfortable sleep and mobility during the healing process. I wore this brace to my Orthopedic Surgeon visit and he approved stating they would provide something very similar to the ER provides full leg brace. If you are miserable in a giant leg contraption give this a try!

Good value for money
Works good! It slides down after awhile, but that’s to be expected with any brace of this type. It feels decently durable, easy to use and comfortable. It has a wide variety of adjustments, so it can fit most legs. It supports the knee and leg well while stabilizing it.

Horrible Horrible Product
This item does not fit correctly. It does not close at the top at all and slides down every time I stand up. The velcro right above the knee has Jagged edges that cut into your skin. In the plastic that goes along the back side of your leg the bottom part of it sticks into your calf. The knee part is way too big considering the bottom and especially the top of the Brace. If i was able to drive and get out to return it i would. Ill never order this brand ever again. Wasted what littlemoney i had on it. Was so excited only to be so disappointed.

Great immobilizer for smaller people
Perfect fit for a petite woman. Great design which matched the durability of a hospital grade device, with a much better fit for a smaller than average person. Used in the recovery of a knee fracture that did not require surgery.

Great to have when you hurt your knee!
Fell and broke my patella. This brace was a great save till I got put into a doctor prescribed brace. It was easy to use and did the job.
