This product went above and beyond what I expected. I did a lot of research on GoGirl, and nearly all the reviews I read were positive. The price was very good for such a functional product, and it was even better than I expected.I first tried it out in the shower as many reviews recommended, after reading through the instructions. It is very easy to use but you MUST be sure that you have a good seal on the back- otherwise you will get pee all over yourself. Don't be discouraged if it takes a few tries to get it, it is a learning curve, but the end result is well worth trying for. It is an extremely liberating feeling the first time you 'get it' and I love having the knowledge and security that I no longer have to worry about less-than-wonderful bathrooms or peeing in the wilderness.My only complaints are that it is a bit hard to fold up and get in/out of the tube. However I'm sure that with practice that comes more easily.TO USE:1. Position yourself in front of the toilet and drop trou.2. Position your GoGirl using your thumb in front and middle finger in back. Be sure it is pressed tightly against your body in the back, especially if you've been waiting awhile to use the bathroom.3. Action!4. Shake or squeeze to release trapped liquid, sometimes it does get stuck and it may take some effort to get all of it out.5. Wipe (the kit includes tissue, or use your own) and finish up, then rinse the GoGirl with warm water. Sanitize at the earliest opportunity and wash your hands well, especially if you dribbled.I have yet to use this in the wilderness or in a situation where a toilet isn't usable, but I'm planning on using it over spring break on a mission trip to Mexico. I wish I'd had it on my recent international endeavors, as I've found it very useful. I definitely recommend this for any active, germophobic, or urban area-dwelling woman,

Fantastic for trips abroad into countries with iffy bathroom facilities. Easy to clean. Lightweight & easy to carry with you when you're travelling. Also makes a great "emergency pee" kit to keep in the glove box of your car: pack it into a ziploc bag with some folded up TP & some wet wipes... you'll never need to touch anything at a truckstop again. Another time you'll be glad to be able to stand up and pee is when camping! No chance of accidentally squatting in a patch of poison ivy.I also have another brand of smaller hard plastic female pee device, which is trickier to use. This one is much more forgiving if you're in a hurry, because there's no need to get things lined up just right. It has a sort of gasket that seals around where it touches your body & keeps the whole thing from leaking. It's also soft & therefore more comfortable than the hard plastic style.Update: Not great for roadside pit-stops unless you can find a very private location. Because it's flexible, you have to get your clothes completely out of the way for it to work properly. If you can't fully drop-trou, the Go Girl is difficult to get into place and sealed well enough so your pee won't run out the back. If you add in a cross-wind and semi-trucks barreling past, it becomes nearly impossible. If you think you might have to pee behind a bush on the side of the road, practice a LOT before you leave the house.

I have been looking for something like this for a while now. Nightmarish toilets started me on my search.A number of similar products like this with funnels and channels. I ordered GoGirl, and in less than 2 days it was at my house, neatly packaged. For its price, its a no-brainer, every girl should carry this in her purse, and not risk infections by sitting on dirty toilet seats.I just rinsed it, and kept it for my first use. Did not even need to practise with it at home.At work, I needed to use the restroom, took my GoGirl, and rinsed it again, put it in place, and just peed, it felt awesome! The aim was great, It felt so natural, it felt great to stand and be able to pee...The box it came in is tiny, and small to conceal in your hand like a little foundation tube. No one willknow what you have in your hands.I remove 1 star for only 1 reason -the box that it comes with feels too small to put it back in, it may not give space for the water to evaporate, and I see myself just throwing the gogirl into its plastic baggie and carrying it rather than force it into the bag. Maybe it should have been a pouch with a snap=on button that you can roll over the gogirl and snap it shut, so it stayed. That would be a design flaw in my opinion. but not bad enough to stop me from using it. I am pleased as a punch to have finally bought it.And it had free shipping too...I wonder how people would feel if they see legs turned the other way in the women's bathroom where some stalls are just divided partitions where you can see the feet... That would be funny!I am going to carry it in my handbag at all times, I just dont see myself sitting on the seat anymore.*Update * : 2 weeks into using itdisappointed that it leaks when you have a large volume of urine to pass. The channels dont form a suction, and on 2 occasions while travelling, I ended up spilling almost 5-8 drops of urine onto my underwear and pant, inspite of holding the GoGirl as supposed to. I dont know what I am doing wrong, other than the 2 instances I had a large volume of water, so it gushed out.I am going to try P Style and see if that gives the same problem, and post an updated review with both trials.
