Offers more location choices!
I had a tv wall mount, but its flexibility was limited. This one is mounted from the ceiling and offers more location choices. Plus, as long as you keep it away from the wall it can be turned 360 degrees and heights can be adjusted so it can be positioned to be visible from anywhere in the room. It also offers a greater degree of tilt than most mounts. Do keep in mind that when considering placement, it should be mounted on a ceiling joist and ceiling fans, etc. must have enough clearance. Only downside I have found is that you have to be careful not to hit your head.

Works great!
Setup was pretty easy, arrived well packaged with all parts as advertised. I am using it to mount a 27 inch TV although it looks strong enough to hold a larger TV with no issue.

Does the job
We purchased this to install in our camper. We needed a TV mount to where the TV could be seen in two areas. This one does the job. We are able to see the TV facing one direction , and then when desired can turn it around to the opposite direction.It was easy to install and feels very sturdy. Very happy with it.

Quality product, vague instructions
Quality product at low price, but instructions are poor. I like that this is a product that accommodates numerous scenarios (wall vs ceiling, concrete vs stud), but vague instructions w multiple hardware options added 30 min to project. Illustrations are small, and steps and key details omitted from text. So if you have a temper or don't enjoy problem-solving, you should probably pay the extra money for something pre-assembled

So so stuff, you will need to pray that thing will keep your TV in place if an earthquake comes.
Kind of flimsy stuff, we hanged a 43" TV, TV looks OK, I just hope that if an earth quake comes, this thing will hold the TV in place. Of course, the thing was attached to a stud going across the ceiling. They did not include the TV mounting screws for a 43" TV, hopefully we have a Big Blue hardware store near by. You will need two M8-1.25X whatever size your TV requires, as an example, our TV requires two M8-1.25X40MM, and two M8-1.25X20MM, yes they are millimetric screws. The are some extras screws in the bag, none work in our case, may be for s smaller TV.
