We love it for the pictures. The words are lacking.

This is a great way to introduce Spring to little ones. The pages are of the highest quality I've seen in little kid books. Pictures are great and wonderful conversation starters with the little ones.

I use this book in a listening center. The students enjoyed the books beautiful pictures.

Colorful pictures, simple text. Perfect for young listeners or new readers.

All of these National Geographic books are great and you cannot go wrong for the price. They have beautiful photography and make learning come alive for kids. Both my five year old and seven year old love these books and we bring them out as the seasons change to help illustrate what is going on in our own back yard. Your child will not even know he/she is learning!

My kiddos (ages 3 and 6) enjoy looking at this book, but not reading it. The photographs are beautiful and fun, but there is no real story, and the words are boring. It did give us a lot of spring topics to talk about, like what baby birds eat and spring thunderstorms.

I guess I wasn't paying attention, so I was expecting this book to be hardcover. It's paperback, so it's not as durable as I expected. Otherwise, it is great! The photos are awesome.

Beautiful pictures we use it with Nursery children, the words are a bit heavy and meaningless to them though.

Lovely book exploring Spring. The pictures are perfect for discussion as they are really detailed. I've used this with 2 years plus and would be happy to try the other books in the range. The vocabulary used on each page will help extend language too.

We are a forest school and the children visited a farm to see the small animals, some of them liked the animals who are born in the spring time

A wonderfully illustrated book. Beautiful photographs and very informative for SEN pupils i worked with. Great to add to the collection of Spring books.
