21st CenturyAcidophilus Capsules, 100 Count (21339)

Have purchased this 6 times, (Note: I know there is a 150 count size but it's same price per pill, so no savings and 150 count is a tall bottle - does really fit in my plastic vitamin box for all supplements and Rx when I tried it I.E. 100 just more convenient size for me. Several years ago Doc advised a probiotic - ordered this one and showed it to him - said it was fine, but a lot of good ones and 21st Century Brand is as good as many. This has worked well for me and price has stayed very reasonable. I agree with comments that it's an easy to take capsule - personally any vitamin/supplement I look for on Amazon has a first criteria of being a capsule. Found some of these tablets (not coated) esp Vit C kind of start to disintegrate a bit after awhile. Anyway, agree with Amazon summary of reviews - good product, well priced and works well.

I used to struggle with constipation and got diarrhea every time I ate spicy food. But this supplement has made a huge difference!I take it with water first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Within about three hours, I have a bowel movement, and it's a healthy one. When I eat spicy food, I take it along with my meal, and it prevents the diarrhea.This is the best probiotic I've ever tried. It's truly amazing.

This is a great probiotic. I have been using this product for many years at my doctor's advice. This stuff really works for good gut health. Easy-to-swallow pills just once a day does the trick.

The capsules are easy to swallow and priced right.

My husband and I are out doors a lot. however we frequently get cold sores from too much sun. Acidophilus helps prevent these cold sores.

I love this brand. I don’t have a gallbladder so having a probiotic is important for me.

I recently underwent major surgery. Due to my having an autoimmune disorder and a history of surgical-related infections, my surgeon put me on antibiotics before, during and after the surgical procedure.As most women know, antibiotics can wreck havoc on you in the form of yeast infections...which no one is eager to get up close and personal with.I wanted to avoid that awful condition, so I began to eat more yogurt, and in addition, take Acidophilus* per my surgeon's recommendation. This is the second surgery I've had where I have taken Acidophilus...and the second time I have had no unfortunate antibiotic-related infections.The capsules were small and easy to swallow, and the neat way the bottle is shaped fit nicely into my medication lockbox.
