The WPI CG-0017, 400mL heavy-duty, round, Griffin-style, low-form beaker is designed for general-purpose use in education, chemistry, research, and life-science industries. The beaker is composed of borosilicate 3.3 glass, which has an 80% silica content that provides clarity, high mechanical strength, and high resistance to chemical attack and thermal shock. White, dual-scale graduations ease reading, and a marking area can be used for labeling. A pour spout prevents splashing and over-pouring. The laboratory-grade beaker meets American Society of Mechanical Engineering (ASME) E960, type II standards for borosilicate glass. Includes 12 beakers. Beakers are containers used by chemists, researchers, and educators to measure, mix, analyze, transport, and heat substances in a variety of laboratory, educational, and life science applications.
