Good mirror
I bought two of these. One for the tool box when I'm working on my car, the other for the kids to play with. They are well made and very attractive for the little guys to wander the house periscoping around corners and over couch backs. Fun gift for kids and a decent gift for anyone with a full toolbox.

Sturdy
This mirror is not too shabby or shakey lol I purchased one of the 2" round inspection mirrors the round one would flop around like a fish without water... I sat on it a Way accidentally thank god I didn't lose it lol.. This rectangular mirror is much better the extension shaft is quite thick and it doesn't do the wave like at a sporting event.. When I use it I'm able to fold it most directions and still have tension on the arm..

Good quality, telescoping shaft is more wobbly than necessary
This is the one to buy, good quality and will hold up. My only gripe is that the telescoping shaft has more clearance than necessary and it makes the mirror wobbly when fully extended. I'm sure that could be remedied by more careful tighter forming of the "socket" part of the telescoping bit. A few thousandths is all that is required for smooth operation but this has more like .030" which is multiplied by the length of the shaft to make it jiggly and cheap-feeling. That's a shame because the materials are quite good, just lacking a little care in the manufacturing QA.

The mirror is distortion free.
I have various Ullman inspection mirrors in various shapes and sizes. They are all very clear and distortion free, and this one is no exception. The telescoping shaft has a tight fit but extends and retracts easily.

Great mirror but not soo much for the handle and swivel
I use these type mirrors daily working on engines. I found the swivel to be soo tight that I was afraid of bending the frame around the mirror. I quickly loosened the set screw slightly and then it was too loose. Just couldn't get s happy medium. Wound up taking the mirror and frame from this and putting it on my OTC handle that had a broken mirror piece. Mirror and frame are excellent quality just not the handle.

Exactly as expected, hex shaft does not rotate under mirror weight.
Exactly as expected, seems to be well built. Hex shaft does not rotate under weight of mirror. Mirror attachment to ball joint bracket is now housed under the backing plate, with horizontal indentations, rather than welded onto the outside as in older models. Hopefully this will eliminate some previous apparent problems with it breaking off.

It's a Big Mirror
This mirror is very well made the glass and metal are good quality. The handle is sturdy even when you extend it out all the way. Be advised it's a very large mirror you won't be able to fit into tight spots but if you can get it where you need it, it's about the best mirror you can get.
