We have a small bedroom in our home dedicated as a music room. I use a laptop for recording, backing tracks and other general computer uses. Having to reach back over two tiers of equipment to get to the laptop was awkward and annoying. With this cool little device I just clamp it onto the front edge of my gear stand and I have easy mouse access to all the functions I need for my music production. It rotates 180 degrees under the stand when not in use so it's not sticking out in the room. While I've had no durability issues with it, it feels a bit flimsy under the weight of my hand when I use it, so I've found that using a light touch is the ticket. Otherwise, it works and performs great!

The tightening screw is awkward.I do like the ability to adjust for thicker desk or tables.There were no instructions.It is worth the money. It should last for a long Time as long as I don't get rough with it.

A little flimsy, but for the price and for the work station where I'm using it, it does the job.

It took me a couple minutes to understand how the clamp attaches. There was not even a picture of the installed product in the box. But the picture on amazon sufficed -- it's not high tech.The clamp is tightened by a large knurled knob, no tools required. It felt quite tight, but the second day when I moved the "adjustable" platform, the clamp needed retightening. I'll remove a star if it needs constant attention.THE WARNING: The description says it will attach to a desk as thick as 2 inches. My desk is only 1 1/4 inches thick, and it barely opens enough to slide the clamp in place. Fortunately for me, it's a fit, but I don't see how it would open to fit a surface even one quarter inch thicker.Bottom line -- it seems to work fine for me, and is MUCH sturdier that a plastic mouse support attachment I had to a Fellowes keyboard drawer, which over time came loose and finally broke.

The media could not be loaded. Lowers the mouse below the desk level and brings it closer to you. Could be what you need for a ergonomic setup. Love how it smoothly rotates to hide underneath the desk when not in use.Perfect if you have a small keyboard tray or you're a weirdo like me and you use your keyboard in your lap.In my case, the keyboard I use is quite tall, and my standing desk converter raises the minimum height of my desk. My desk setup doesn't fit most keyboard trays, but my Kinesis Advantage is somewhat uniquely suited to sitting in your lap - but then I had to reach for the mouse and that was extremely uncomfortable after just one day. This thing solved that for me.Avoid wrist extension! If your setup doesn't let you get nice and close to your desk and have your wrists flat and shoulders/elbows at 90deg angles, consider whether you need a keyboard tray and a mouse tray.
