Great buy for the price and does exactly what you want it to however it's important to remember that if your plugging a CAT-7 cable into a CAT-5 port you'll be getting a CAT-5 connection. Since CAT 7 is pretty new tech you might have some problems utilizing it's full potential. If I'd have thought of this before hand i would have just gotten a CAT-5 cable.

I was getting like 8-9 Mbps on my client VPN at home and just the cable alone bumped it up to +20mbps (tested it on xfinity speed test http://speedtest.comcast.net/ ) with a business line from Comcast. Off the VPN I was getting +120mps. I work from home and work with a lot of high capacity excel reports and the download time from my client was brutual. This cable was crazy fast and I plug directly into my wireless router and INSTANTLY saw the differance.

I don't know if its the router or the cable but the router worked fine before.The cable periodically cuts out and no data is being sent or recieved. I'm going to run a stress test and I'll update this review when i'm done

Excellent shielded cable. The cable is soft and flexible, but still tough and great quality. No issues with construction, perfect data rates, and very high quality ends. I'd use these any time. Easy to pull through cable runs due to flexible nature. Love it.

Nice cable, well made, sure this will hold up for along time. I did notice some speed difference versus my old cat 5e, so as far as i'm concerned, its a good buy and a better upgrade.

Great for the dorm life, constant problems with the wifi in my building and this cable saved my life many times.
