Pleasant to the eye, light green paper which takes pen well and does _not_ ghost - - even when using Uni•Ball's "Broad" Signo UM-153, 1.0mm pens which laydown thick, dark ink that can be read at a distance. Ultra-firm cardboard Kraft covers that absolutely support writing on one's lap - even on public transportation. A real, fold flat, on-the-go notebook that will stay the course.

Although purchase of these notebooks is/was for academic lectures and other public events, use is extremely limited given two weighty cardboard covers. These notebooks defeat the professional purpose of traveling light weight.
