Rubber O-ring Gasket Seal for Oster & Osterizer, 3 Pack

Gasket was the right size, delivery was very fast and the price was right. Would definitely use again. The only reason I rated this transaction 4 stars was due to the fact the new gasket didn't stop the small leak from my blender, but that wasn't anyone's fault. Just made me that much happier I hadn't over paid for the parts.

I am gonna put in a good word for this product.. To be honest, I only needed one ring, but got three.. The original ring was something like 40 years old, or more.. I do not know how the first one was, as the blender was given to me.. But I hear people say this model is about 40 years old.. I have the Oster with the pretty chrome base. I think it is the Galaxie IV. Someone was going to toss it in the trash, I showed some interest in it, and they gave it to me!!! I have had it over 20 years, stuck in a closet.. Finally decided to get healthy after my heart bypass in Jan, 2015.. Smoothies were supposed to be healthy, so out comes the blender.. A little WD40 on the gears and she was ready to do.. But, the seal was stiff!!!!! Not really leaking, just stiff.. So, I started looking to see if I could replace it.. Took awhile to find a product that others bragged about, but here it is.. I bought this product because others thought highly of it.. I got it(them, there are three), I am using one, and it seems to work just fine, so life is good.. So, if I do the math right, I have 120 years worth of rings here.. 40 years of service per ring.. I have three rings, so... I am using the first one, 40 years from now I will start using the second one, and then 80 years from now I will put in the last one... At the 120 year mark, I will have to buy a new set.... Not bad for the money I spent.... I am 63 now. We will have to wait and see how many times I get to change the ring before someone else has to do it..

They are a little small but they does the job.

Just what I needed for my blender as I use it grind coffee beans and make smoothies. The o-ring gets chewed up sometimes if it's not on correctly and it's great to have replacements handy.

The ID to OD dimension is pretty thin, and I had a hard time getting it to seal with my oster blender.

While I think it's garbage that I had to buy 3 to get a good deal on them, I gotta say I'm happy with their quality. I've had my Osterizer so long that I didn't even know the rubber ring was supposed to be soft. At this point, the rings will probably outlast the blender, but whatever.
