Classic Curious George in Red Shirt 8" by Gund

I received "George" and I hadn't read the size apparently and when I received it, it was smaller than expected. I had it ready to ship back, and decided to show it to my 2 year old grandson, since it was so very cute, and he LOVES IT! I am very happy to say, "its a hit" and easy for his little hands, and sleeps with him.

All good except the shirt color did not match the picture. The picture was red and the one i received had on a yellow shirt. My son had a beloved George like this with a red shirt that got lost and when we "found" him he had the wrong color shirt. Thankfully it turned out to not be a big deal but there was potential for melt down. This vendor should update the picture if they are sending out different colors or give buyers an option to select which color to purchase.

I've purchased 3 of these Curious George stuffed monkeys. They are soft and very well made. I purchased two 12 inch and this adorable 8 in. I gave the two larger ones to two of my grandsons. They love them. The 7 year old has even made a bed for his. He hugs and cuddles it all the time. The 5 year old sleeps with his. The 8 in. is for their new baby that is coming. They are so excited that the baby will have one, too.

Edited June 2015: we have purchased two more because my son was down to one "mimi" and when a temper tantrum is about to start, only his "mimi" will keep it from escalating. Great price, fast ship. Original survives very thorough washings, but it does start to pill up on the red shirt.Original review:My almost 2 year old son has become obsessed with his "Mimi" (Curious George stuffed toy) and when he thought he lost it, his world almost ended. So I knew I needed to buy him a "back up" and found it easily on Amazon. Great price, fast shipping! Unfortunately I didn't hide the old one well enough and my son found out there were two, and he was so excited and started screaming "Two mimi!!" like he had won the lottery. So now he has to take both of the Curious George toys with him wherever he goes.

My cousin loved getting this for Christmas. He enjoyed playing with him during our family Christmas party.

I got this for my friend's 2 yo son who had a Curious George themed birthday. He loves it!! His mom sent me a picture of him holding it to go to bed. It has become a lovey for him. It's small enough that he can take it anywhere and very soft so he likes to cuddle. If you are looking for a big huggable one, this is not that big. Very happy I got it for him.

Purchased this for my son for Easter. Much smaller than I expected but he is little so I'm okay with that. I love the quality of this product and that it is made by Gund, I just wish it looked more like the new Curious George that is on PBS instead of the older version. It was almost impossible to find a new looking one

For those complaining about the size... It does say it's only 8" in the description and we all know 8" isn't that big.My biggest compliment about this toy is that it is extremely durable. My son received one as a gift when he turned 1, he is turning 3 this month. He brings it everywhere with him and the only reason we're buying a new one is because Curious George finally got lost on a trip.It's small but last a long time. The fabric on the shirt does kind of look used, like it needs a sweater shaver to it but then again my son takes this little guy everywhere.

Hi I thought the item was lovely but a bit expansive for what it is, although my baby granddaughter loves him. My eldest granddaughter seems to think this is not the real Curious George.

Thought it looked really cheap and could of got a better deal.
