This is a really good cutting board
This is a really good cutting board. I have a sharp Santoku knife and the wood barely shows all the cutting I've done on it since buying the board. (I really have to look for cut marks.) I use it every day, and it never dries out; though I do put mineral oil on it once a week, as directed. The one thing I would advise is to put rubber feet on the bottom, so liquids don't seep underneath the board. The board is heavy and cleaning both sides every day is a bother. Also, the board can slip a bit while being used on a smooth surface, such as granite, so rubber feet are helpful with that, as well..

good looking board, but poor workmanship
I bought the board because it looks fabulous. It came in mail after 2 weeks or so, when I opened it, it smelled really bad, I washed it with soup and water hoping the smell goes away. actually when it got wet, the bad smell became stronger!At the beginning the board was straight and all 4 corners were touching the surface. Now after 2 weeks or so, it's starting to become wavy and one corner is not touching the surface. also the bad smell hasn't gone away either!The surface was not perfectly smooth, it had small "hair like" wooden fibers sticking out, giving it a rough texture!This board came from Tennessee which is much more humid than California. All of these are due to the improper drying techniques and procedures! I've had wooden boards in the past, they were smooth, none of the smelled like this, and none of them curled up on me.Im very disappointed with the quality. the only thing I would say though is the look of this board! it's very very pretty, but if it's going to stink like this, and not being flat, I don't want it.

Unsanded and Useless
Very disappointing. The board is rough and unsanded. I will have to sand it myself in order to make it usable. I definitely do NOT recommend this product or manufacturer. For the price of this board, it should be not only useable but actually enjoyable to use. It's neither. Very unfortunate.

Poor Quality and Returning
The quality of the wood is poor. I am returning it. Kobi Blocks charges a 20% restocking fee and will not pay for postage.
