Easy Street Women's Marcie Mary Jane Flat

I have been trying find a pair of black shoes that I can wear for work that are not the small ballet flats that are not great in winter weather. I saw these at a fair price so decided to give them a try.Fit: These do fit nicely, particularly for a wide foot. I typically wear a 9 1/2 W or a 10 W. After reading the comments, I decided to stick with the 9 1/2 W. They fit nicely for a wide foot. I sometimes have problems when I buy a shoe that is wide - they still are tight in the toes. This is not the case here. The toes are not bunched up and are not tight at all.Comfort: These feel comfortable. I've only worn them around the house (and will update if the comfort changes the longer I've worn them). I don't know quite how to explain the comfort - they are cushiony bouncy.Style: I can't say that I love the look of them (I didn't love the look in the picture either). I don't think they are awful but they're certainly not a trendy shoe. However, having a wide foot in a half size, I rarely can wear a trendy shoe. The toe is squared off, not round. I actually think this adds to the comfort of the shoe.Durability: This seems like it is a well made shoe. I am hoping it is durable. Based on what I've seen I think it will be, but again, if it is different I will update my review.

Narrow shoe fits well

While I understand why some shoes have exposed elastic on the exterior of the shoe, it still doesn’t increase the aesthetics of the shoe. I’m sure it is there in hopes of ensuring a better fit of the shoe. This beautiful pair of Mary Jane flats is made to look cheap by leaving a 2 inch length of exposed elastic on the straps of both sides of the shoe. Otherwise, the shoes are really cute.The shoes also run large. I decided to try some inserts to make the shoes fit. This seems to work well especially since it also increases the comfort level of the shoe bed at the same time. I can see wearing these shoes with jeans but not with dresses which I was looking forward to doing. I bought the navy blue which should look nice with jeans.I gave the shoes 3 stars because of the elastic, the large fit and the uncomfortable hard insoles. Accepting these limitations as I did and making them work for me, I would only recommend if you are willing to do the same. This is not a bad shoe and could easily be improved.

I wear and 8-1/2 medium width and that's the size that I ordered. It fits perfectly. The color looks like it does in he picture and contrary to other reviews, I actually like the square toe because my toes don't feel bunched up. I wouldn't want to wear these if I was on my feet all day, because they don't have enough arch support for me, but for an average day of running errands, out for a while on the weekend, doing desk work, or at home it's fine. I may even put an insert in minebfor more arch support.Overall, I do like them enough to order another pair. I've included a picture.

I was surprised at all the unfavorable reviews because I think they are great! I was worried after I ordered them because I ordered a half side larger but they fit fine; room for socks if you want. The style is great, they feel great, and for not being leather they look great. I am in a wheelchair so the long time comfort wasn't that important, but I feel that they will be just fine for a long day. The rubber strap is just the right length too make them fit comfortable and feel tight enough to not make them slide on your feet. If you get a pair that you are not happy with, send them back for another pair or another style. Anyway, for the price, I am happy.

Well, this is quite a pickle. I like the look and fit of the shoe, but they come off my heel as I walk...I really hate it when that happens! Not only does it make me look and feel like an idiot, but I think most of us tend to subconsciously scrunch our toes, or do other things equally as uncomfortable in an effort to keep the shoe on. I've never worn a shoe like this that didn't end with very sore feet.They fit well with socks, but this really isn't the type of shoe you want to wear socks with. I thought about just going down 1/2 a size. Unfortunately, the difference in sizes is 11/16", and they're only 5/16" too long. I tried a foam heel protector. That mostly fixed the problem, but the padding will scrunch down after I've worn them a few times, and there's so much extra room it was obvious I stuffed something in there to make them fit...again, not into looking like an idiot. I've been looking for just the right Mary Janes for quite awhile, and got these for a great price {it went up right after I ordered}. It's sad and frustrating, but I don't see any alternative; I'll have to return them.

I have been buying these shoes for a number of years as they are usually very comfortable and lightweight, and I am on my feet a lot. This was the first time I bought them from this seller, I believe, and I was very disappointed. The packages were delivered in good time (I bought 2 pairs since the price was reasonable), but the shoes themselves were another story. They were sticky to the touch and the dye came off on my hands! It was a mess to clean and since my hands were dirty I couldn't take a picture. To top it off, the fit was very different from the ones I previously purchased, even though I have been ordering the same size for years (Amazon can confirm this from my order history). They were tighter all around but especially felt narrower than normal. I actually had to check to make sure I got the right size, and they were 6 and a half as ordered, but the fit felt smaller. I don't understand how this is possible though, isn't it the same company producing all the shoes no matter who the seller is??? Sadly I can't return these since I used a freight forwarder to send them from a US address to me in the Caribbean and it would be too expensive to return. I will never be purchasing these from this seller again.

shoe very comfortable but of poor quality. The leather is already damaged and yet I do not abuse the shoes.
