Unfortunately there is no option to enter a minus rating, what a pity. I have never in my life seen such a useless piece of junk as this, the people who made it should hang their heads in shame. The people who sell it should do likewise. I tested this with two of the aluminium Rivet Nuts supplied with the tool. By the time I had finished, the tool was bent is several directions, none of them good. The base and handle of the tool, which is 2mm steel, seems to have all the strength of wet cardboard. The other part which is pulled up by the handle to compress the Rivet Nut, is made of steel so soft that I am convinced it is alloyed with Cheddar cheese. I actually tested it with a magnet, so sure was I that it could not possibly be steel, as the two pins that pushed up against it had caused the metal to squish outwards. Oh, and the handle itself deformed as well, because it was such a sloppy fit in the base it splayed outwards under pressure.Thank God I did not test this with steel Rivet Nuts, the collateral damage from this piece of trash spontaneously dismantling itself with great force would have been tragic. So, into the bin with this, but i still have all those Rivet Nuts, which is nice. Now, if only there a tool to make use of them...........

Purchased this for my hot rod project. I needed to mount a brake reservoir, coolant expansion tank and a few other bits to the firewall and this kit made it a doddle..Just drill the holes where you want them, screw the rivnut to the tool, pop it through the hole, squeeze a few times and ya done..The finish is as good as you would see in a production car and is easier and quicker than trying to install captive nuts.Nice choice of rivnuts included too so as yet I have not had to buy any more.Very pleased with the kit and the results.

Makes installation of rivnuts so much easier. Operation is very similar to a pop rivet gun. Various 'heads' supplied for different thread sizes.

I needed to fix the battery onto the down tube of the bike, I had tried other methods but these captive nuts are the best solution. Seem strong.

Did the job perfectly, no instructions, took a minute or two to work out how to use it. Happy with my purchase.

Very good , already repaired a damage plastic fixing on a car, but remember to put a washer at the rear to hold. Worked well & out of site.
