Perfect. Exceeded expectations
Times are tough and we can only afford a one bedroom apartment. I need that one bedroom for a nursery and so me and hubby decided on bunk beds to save space. I know most would find adults sleeping in bunk beds and separate beds as well as in the living room and dining room, and within a relationship weird but it works for us. I got a separate bunk bed for the dining room that has a dining set under it for me, this one is his. first off we bought this in just hopes that it was going to hold him without breaking. I’m not saying I recommend people do this but he weighs 50 pounds over the exceeded weight limit and it holds him fine, bars don’t even bend. Picture is of him sleeping in it for reference. It is plenty safe for your kids. The ladder is painful but we added pool noodles just like everyone else said to do and turned out great. You do need two pool noodles. It does shake but I feel that’s to be expected. It’s not horrible like some people were claiming. I would use double sided tape on some items you place on the shelves so they stay in place. Did take a bit to put together and a few times had to take apart and do again on a few of the poles. All the holes in the poles do get a bit confusing but other than that went together just fine. As adults using bunk beds. We do have to watch our heads, can’t fully sit up due to how high it is but allows more space underneath. There isn’t a cut out for the ladder in the railing but hasn’t been an issue but I could see where it would be for kids to have to climb over it. I had seen some people claiming the ladder is not where it is in the picture and idk where they’re getting that from. The ladder and bunk bed is just like the pictures, I’m thinking they put it together wrong. Also some people were saying the metal is paper thin and bends. We didn’t have that issue at all. If it was paper thin metal it wouldn’t hold even over it’s recommended weight limit. Over all was worth the money and time to put together. Huge space saver and exactly what we were looking for.

Great bed for a Tween and perfect for Distance or Online learning in small room
My son is 11 and loves to game. This bed was perfect for his small room to add a computer without taking up more space. The shelves are incredibly sturdy, though you have to hold the bars tight and have them perfectly flat or the board won't line up. If everything is assembled exactly how it is written, this bed assembles perfectly with no hangups. I had no spare bolts or peices but the labeled spare ones offered in the package. I am a 5'4 woman and was able to assemble it on my own. At first there was some squeaking, but once you tighten the bolts down appropriately, there is no sound and everything is set solid. Overall, this is an excellent purchase and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is trying to make space for 1 or more kids in a room while allowing them space to use their computer and have a small chair behind them for reading. It's really roomy under the bunk! The items on the shelf can move a bit. I recommend bookends so nothing falls from getting up and down the ladder. One thing that would make this bed better is if the ladder had flat steps for a more comfortable climb. Otherwise, the bed more than met our needs. A big thing to be aware of is that the box weighs a ton and is super hard to move. I had to straddle it like a horse and with all my strength push it back a few inches at a time and almost died. *pretty sure I did and then came back to life* If the manufacturer could find a way to put the contents in two packages or be able to move 1-3 boxes joined together when shipped but can be moved separately, that would really be helpful. Otherwise you need a strong person much bigger than me to move it at all. GREAT PRODUCT! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

Great deal, but a few modifications would make it better
So first of all I have to say this bed is very sturdy so far. When I first went to step onto the top, being really psyched out by trusting my life to a few screwed together pieces of hollow metal - which I, with my frail noodle arms, screwed together MYSELF - I was initially VERY careful and tried to distribute my weight as much as I could. A few weeks later now, and I'm pretty confident centering my weight all on one foot (DISCLAIMER: I am a small 125lb woman with tall ceilings, ymmv). The desk area underneath is very nice as well, and the shelves are each individually weight rated for 50lbs, so you pretty much don't have to worry about putting too much stuff on them. Despite how sturdy the bed is, there is still plenty of wobbling because, as I mentioned, it is a few pieces of hollow metal screwed together. However, all in all, it's a great deal for what you get at the time of my purchase (~350USD). Having said that, there are a number of improvements that could be made that are really simple, but greatly increase the useablility of this bed. First: As others have mentioned, the ladder is pretty painful to use. If the small cylindrical rungs were flattened out, it would be much nicer. Before I got a pool noodle as others suggested, I figured out that stepping on it sideways with the full length of your foot helps if you need a temporary solution, but the pool noodle is still way better. Also: haven't seen this issue mentioned, but the ladder does not actually touch the ground fully, so when the bed shakes, the ladder goes CLANG CLANG CLANG against the laminate floors I have. I may just have the ladder screwed in too tight, but I just circumvented the issue using the leftover pool noodle as padding on the bottom. Secondly: Also as others have mentioned, there is no ladder entrance onto the bed, and you have to climb over the railings. I don't mind it too much personally as, like I mentioned, I have tall ceilings and it's a surprisingly good way to work hip flexibility, but I can definitely see it being a safety issue, especially for people with mobility problems. Ideally, the manufacturer would cut out four entrances on each end, and each side of the bed, because of my following point. Third: The bed assembly tries to lock you into a single arrangement. For most people, this wouldn't be an issue, but became a problem with my current room configuration. Essentially, the only wall I could place the the bed against has two outlets: on one side a normal outlet, and on the other side, one tied to a light switch, which ALSO houses the only lighting I have in the room and therefore actually need to use the light switch for. Guess which one the desk would be next to. So yeah, I swapped the two long bed rails so I could get the ladder holes on the other side of the desk and the whole bed flipped around. The effect of this is that the secondary support screws for the bookshelves have nowhere to screw in, since those holes are now by the desk. Overall it doesn't seem to have much of an effect on sturdiness since the shelves are placed on top of metal rails, instead of hanging from the bookshelf posts, so it's really more of a nitpick. But again, it would be a small change on the manufacturer to add ladder holes on all four corners to let people decide the orientation themselves. Fourthly, because the railings are arched, you can't put one of those loft bed trays on, so you basically have to install a shelf if you want a nightstand. I just want somewhere to place my water bottle man why's it gotta be so difficult. A tiny complaint, which I wouldn't REALLY recommend changing, but feel like complaining about anyway: the reason the bed is so sturdy is because of clamps that run down the center and across the mattress support bands, allowing for increased weight distribution. Trying to put those on is actually kind of dangerous. I understand why they're so tight, since it is for safety and everything, but my hands were covered in bandages by the time I was done because when those suckers snap on, they SNAP. ON. It surprisingly never broke the skin, but 3 weeks later I still have marks where they bit me.

Awesome Space-Saving Bed & Workspace. Love It!
Oh boy, this bed is a hit! Our 9-year-old son has a small bedroom and, now that he’s in 4th grade and has more homework, he needed a workspace of his own. Squeezing in a desk with his old room set-up was going to be tight. So I got to researching and ended up selecting this bed. See the pics to see how we transformed his bedroom. He LOVES IT! As for construction: The instructions make it pretty simple. It’s mostly a matter of setting aside the time. I’d say it took a total of 2.5 hours, with help from my 11-year-old daughter. The stage where I’d say one person needs a hand is toward the beginning, when you assemble the main frame. I needed my daughter to hold up each side rail so I could affix it to the head/foot boards. Other than that, you can do it alone if necessary. As others said, the ladder rungs are a bit painful on bare feet, whether you’re a kid or an adult. I may rectify that, I may not. Not a deal breaker. We’ll see. I would suggest some kind of “bunkbed cubby holder” thing to hold your phone/IPad etc. see it in the pic, tucked into the side rail of my son’s bed, near the headboard. It’s handy because there’s no storage space up on the bed. Just a thought. Sturdy constitution. I plan to affix earthquake straps to the bed and wall for a little extra sturdiness (California here). Highly recommend! EDIT: I added the earthquake straps last night. I made sure to add one strap to each back end and to the wall, but I placed it high, to keep the bed more sturdy (it shakes a bit when climbing up on the bed). The straps gave it excellent sturdiness and brought the shaking waaaay down. So much more grounded now, and I have more peace of mind in an earthquake.

My boys love their new beds!
Our boys share a room and had bunked together for 8 years. It was time to give them each their own personal space, so we ordered two of these beds. They were stoked at the idea of getting their own desk area (and I was curious to see who's the cleaner of the two—verdict still out on that!). The first bed took about 2 hours to put together, given my husband had three children trying to "help" him. At one point, they put the wrong piece on somewhere (I think they put the round rods where the square rods go). So they had to backtrack and fix it. The second bed took less than 1.5 hours. The beds are very sturdy! Of course, my boys weigh under 100 lbs each, but these don't feel wobbly or squeak too much. The shelves are nice because they have a bar that lines them on three sides so they can use them like a bookshelf and books don't fall off the back or sides. The desk is a good height, but is a little tall if using just a folding chair (would need a chair that's a little taller). We added LED rope tape lights under the bed in the desk area so they have some lighting when they're drawing or hanging out in their own space. Having their own sides of the room has given them their own additional space and the beds are so tall that they like to just lay up there and whisper stories to themselves and it feels like (once again) that they have personal space. So much better in that "personal space" department than bunk beds!

Beds started out great, now they are super noisy.
I bought two of these loft beds for my boys who share a bedroom in our two bedroom apartment. At first, they were the answer we were looking for - their room went from cluttered with no room to move, to a legit nice room with plenty of space for each boy to store their own items, have their own vibe and do their own work almost in private. They are high and spacious, and I put them both together myself with no help. The price was amazing for what we got and we were very happy with the purchase. Its now been about 10 months that they've been using the beds. About a month ago, they started to squeak in the worst way. Every single movement makes them squeak and I've started to get really nervous about it. Unfortunately, I cannot afford new beds. I was hoping to find a way to contact the maker of these beds to see what to do, but I am unable to find contact information for them. I'd love to be able to fix this issue and continue to use the beds but I'm getting nervous that they won't even get a full year out of them and we'll be back to having no beds for my children and no space in their room. Does anyone have the number or email of the company to write to?

Perfect purchase
I live in a small home and my kids share a tiny room (small enough I can't even get a good picture). I purchased these in March of 2022. This was the perfect purchase. The beds are sturdy and very well made. The only issue is the ladder steps hurting when stepped on - common complaint with this bed- I fixed that with pool noodles. The beds are big enough that I was able to put a desk under there along with the shelves that come with the beds. The beds were super easy to put up and the packaging/instructions were awesome . My kids love the beds. Overall I highly recommend the beds.

Open up the room & kids love it
We have 2 toddlers who share a room and of course that would fight over the space in the bedroom. So online to do some research for bunk beds at a fair price, to look for something durable because our kids are rowdy and wild at times . After looking for a few hours I came across this bunk bed that in the reviews stated it would open up the room and the kids could have their own space to play and enjoy themselves. The installation process was fairly simple I do in courage reading the some reviews on how to put it together BECAUSE you will don’t want to tighten the bolts tight intill AFTER completion of the bunk beds is together it makes building it so much easier. But our 2 toddlers seem to enjoy their bunk beds they are 5 & 6 years old but even their older brothers love the bunk beds. They are metal so the ladder is alil hard on your feet climbing up and down it but other than that it is well worth the money.
