Recently I asked the Lord to share with me what I was doing to hold myself back. He did! We had a long conversation, but to sum it all up He basically said that I was scared of my own success. This book has been an eye opener with respect to what is required to be successful in every area of your life. An insightful look behind the scenes at the ground being dug, the foundation being laid, and finally, the skyscraper of your success beginning to rise on the horizon. A must read for anyone who seeks to go further in God, and in life.

I truly enjoyed this old school throwback of TD Jakes. My mom read this book when I was a child and constant references it. So I decided to read it in entirety since her small anecdotes of it were great encouragement. I was not disappointed. This book is foundational to walking with Christ into purpose. TD jakes is at his best in this book prior to all his new commercialized propaganda

Incredible and inspiring writing. This is my first book from Rev. Jakes but it wont be my last. His candid and authentic approach is applicable and uplifting.

It was such a blessing ton read this book. So inspiring and motivational. You can't only trust God, you've got to make a move as well. Can you stand to be blessed? I really liked the book. I've read it once and I can hardly read a book a second time but it has blessed me even more than I read it the first time as I'm wiser and more mature to handle some of the things presented. Awesome!
