Adam's Car Shampoo

I like detailing my own vehicles and was looking at trying a soap from Adam’s Polishes as I had recently tried some of their other products and been happy with the results. I have now used this soap several times and it works great and smells good too! Works perfect with my foam cannon. The soap looked a little low when I first got it as well, like it had potentially leaked. So I reached out to them directly about that and they sent another bottle within a few days. Great customer service and product! Would highly recommend!

I'm a 57 year old detailer with over 40 years of experience. I've used about every car shampoo out there, but I keep coming back to the original Adam's and to CGs Maxi-Suds II . Both are simple car shampoos that do exactly what they are meant to do . This old school Adam's shampoo is just a no nonsense car wash that has a few paint brighters in it without being full of gimmicky waxes ( I do not like wash-n-wax car washes, they are garbage) yet cleans well . This really isn't meant for foam cannons, but works well enough in them. If you want a great foam cannon pre-wash use CarPro lift instead. Do NOT let this dry on your vehicle panels, I don't care what any brand claims, all brands will spot or leave residue if you don't use some common sense and keep the vehicle wet while washing. It smells great, is budget friendly ( if bought in the gallon size ) it produces great bubbles if used in a bucket wash , and if you are using it in a foam cannon while using an electric pressure washer, change your foam cannons orifice from a 1:2 to a 1:1 for shaving cream foam results. There are plenty of videos on YouTube that will show you how to change your foam cannon orifice. If I keep going back to it and I wash both normal and high dollar supercars then you know it works. Adam's is a reputable name in the detailing industry and there is a reason behind that, It's because Adam's works. Pro tip: during cold weather, bring Adam's ( or any other car wash ) indoors in a climate controlled room or it may freeze, separating the chemicals in the shampoo that will turn it into jello.

Excellent product to use with a foaming pressure washer of to wash by hand. I noticed less spots with this product. It also leaves an unbelievable shine, and it doesn’t hurt your wax. This is highly concentrated soap. I’m not sure you can call it soap, but it’s a car cleaner. That’s very high-quality that pays attention to a pH. I think that’s why it doesn’t leave the spots. This is the best car wash product I’ve ever used.

Adam’s product worked well in my soap cannon and produced very good lather that stay where you spray it. This allows more time to work the lather and clean your vehicle faster and with less stress on the finish.

So what can you really write about soap... well, probably more than you would want to read here in the case of this car wash ("shampoo"). I'll try to keep this as brief as possible. Let me start with the only negative critiques I have for this product: there needs to be a dye and scent free version, and this soap is on the expensive side. There it is. What about the good? First of all, I bought this due to the fact there are too many automotive soaps that are not well-formulated to protect convertible tops, while still cleaning the other surfaces - and every thing I researched showed this was gentle on tops while still being an excellent cleaning agent. My research included numerous reviews, and information I received from the manufacturer. Too many car wash soaps have a lot of unnecessary ingredients that you should never apply to a soft top. In fact - most automotive soaps on the market are more marketing than cleaning agents. This particular automotive soap is simply a great cleaning agent that effectively removes what you don't want on your car, while protecting what you want left on your car (wax, finish treatment - etc). This soap provides the right amount of suds and cleaning action - better than any other automotive soap I have used before. I have used every other major high-end product currently available, but this is by far the best soap I have used to date. Even though it has some dye and some added scent - it seems they are less in proportion than other major brands. There is too much emphasis on how good a cleaning agent smells, or how pretty the color is, than how well it cleans. I would prefer there was no scent, or that the only scent was the unadulterated smell of the chemicals used to make the cleaning agents. I could care less if it was an unattractive color - as long as that was the 'natural' color of the cleaning agents. What I care about is how well it cleans and that it doesn't damage my finish or hurt my convertible top over time. It accomplishes the main functions very well. I would just like the version that doesn't have any unnecessary ingredients that are added for marketing.

Works just as it says.

Performance: The suds are incredibly thick, especially when used in a foam cannon. It provides a ton of "slip," which gives me peace of mind that I’m not swirling the paint. Best Feature: Working in the sun is usually a nightmare, but this actually holds up. It doesn't dry into those stubborn white spots as fast as cheaper soaps. Versatility: Works just as well in a standard two-bucket wash as it does in a foam gun.

Pricey for what you get but I guess it better for your car that some of the cheap brands (?).

This is such a great product. You can leave it on the car in direct sunlight without issues and suds up well using high pressure hose. In fact I have bought the detail spray which gives the finishing touches to the car. I am thinking of the grid buckets and the wash mid as the quality is second to none. Keep washing!

This is the best car shampoo I have ever used. I have ceramic coating, foam on, pressure clean, go for a drive to dry off and job is done. Excellent product.

Buen empaquetado, el producto llegó bien. Ahora hay que probarlo. Solo a esperar a que pasen las lluvias.
