Why did you pick this product vs others?: Perfect fit

So you have to expect that a dash kit that is made to work with many different radios from many different manufacturers will have some tolerances in order to do so. I had a bought a Pioneer DMH-2660NEX to go in my 2003 Town Car and it turned out my face plate needed some trimming. If I had used the kit as is, the face of the radio would have sat back from the front of the face plate by maybe 1/8 to 1/4 inch, not a ton but enough to bother me. I solved this by using a dremel tool to trim 1/8 inch off the ring around the back to be able to bring the face of the radio closer to flush, and now it sits pretty nicely. The rest of the gaps seem pretty good. There is a slight space between the edge of the radio screen and the face plate (maybe 1/16 inch, nothing bad) but that may change with each radio used as well. The faceplate also sits a very small amount, maybe 1/16 inch above the level of the clock and HVAC, but again, nothing you will ever notice unless you stick your face right up next to it. As some others have also noted, the color and texture of the plastic isn't an exact match to color and texture of the clock and HVAC controls. This dash kit is black whereas the stock stuff is more dark gray. The stock stuff is also smoother where this has a little texture. All in all though it matches closely enough where it doesn't really matter though. The radio mounting brackets seem to be plenty sturdy. They're plastic but thick enough that they seem to be plenty up to the task of holding up a 4 pound radio (seriously didn't realize how lightweight new radios are). But they could easily hold more weight if you have a heavier radio. The don't twist or flex under the weight either. Another note, all the mounting holes on the face plate and mounting brackets lined up perfectly to the mounting spots on the car. The mounting bracket plates have many different holes to mount with many different radios as well to help. Overall, a decent kit definitely worth the $11-12. Just be ready to possibly need to trim a little.

Worked perfectly for my 2011 Lincoln Town Car, should work perfectly for 2003-2011 Town Cars and maybe other Ford/Lincoln Panther body cars. Do your research for compatibility. There is a nice installation coversheet PDF you can find floating around online that has a picture of a completed Towncar dashboard with this bezel installed that will help you know if it will work on your car. Some complain the bezel is flexible/flimsy easy to break. Could be, just don't over-tighten the hold down screws and don't be ham-fisted while handling it and you'll be fine. Looks really nice around my new Sony head unit.

This mount does the trick, but it is low quality. The plastic had poorly cut holes and extra plastic stuck around various holes. It also does not come with any screws, so hopefully the ones that came with your radio work.

This kit was great it was extremely easy to put together no hassle cause it fits 20 different other cars it was just make specifically for my car and it went in like a Glove, it’s definitely worth the money

I used this product for a 2005 Lincoln town car Limited It took a very long time for it to arrive, approximately two weeks. When it did I received two of the left brackets and the frame that surrounds the radio. However I didn't receive the right bracket, so I ordered a replacement order. To my surprise it arrived in 2 days, so I was happy I didn't have to wait another 2 weeks. Mistakes happen, but the reason i removed one star is because the product is advertised to fit my car straight out the box which is not the case. I needed to do some tweaking, but i am happy with the final results.
