Subtle change to stand out
I had read the previous reviews before purchasing and was a little hesitant but I went ahead with it anyway because I couldn't stand the awful yellow reflector staring at me everytime I walked up to my truck. I think Recon got the message from the previous reviews saying there were no instructions because there were TWO copies of installation instructions included along with a link to a video to watch which I didn't ever end up looking at because I didn't need it. It is a little difficult to remove the glass mirror but after that it was a peice of cake. As for the fitment issues reported they must have been some other issue because both sides on my truck fit just fine no issues. There was something about the wiring being cheap which I agree with a little but there is not much room to use any larger gauge wire. I wired mine straight into the exsisting led blinker already in the mirror and they work flawlessly. They are a bit pricey for the product but in my search there are only two companies that supply them. I went with the company I already used for my tail lights, 3rd brake light, int lights, license plate light bulbs and front turn signal bulbs. They haven't failed me yet and these refector replacements are no exception. These are one of those subtle changes that most people wouldn't even notice and most trucks I have seen don't have this done so it's a way to stand out from the crowd.

Better than the competition
Not the lowest priced side mirror turn signal lights on the market, but they are worth the price. Popping the mirrors off to disassemble housing is a pain and there are no instructions included for this step. I came across a YouTube video that showed how to remove the mirror and after that there are only 4 bolts. There are also no wiring instructions which bothers me a little but it's a two wire setup and maybe Recon is trying to help save the environment by not wasting paper? But I digress, The fit was correct and they stick out a little bit more than the factory reflectors or blanks. They even stick out more than the first set of turn signal lights I bought from a different manufacturer which failed in under six months. After getting burned by purchasing cheap ones from manufacturer A, I yanked those out and installed these from Recon. I will update this review after they make it through the winter.

Expected Better, Price is a RIP-OFF!!!
For this price, they should be WAY better. First of all, NO instructions included WHATSOEVER. Not that installation is complicated, but instructions on how to disassemble the mirror would be very helpful. Supplied wiring is very flimsy and cheap, TINY, very thin wire. The product is designed so that the wiring needs to be pinched between the light and the housing, which almost cuts the wire because it's such a small gauge wire. Also, the driver's side light fit the housing very poorly. There is a slight bend in the light so it doesn't sit in the slot well at all. The passenger light fits well, the driver's side is different. I'm a perfectionist, and this bothers me a lot. Otherwise, they look pretty good, better than the orange reflectors I think. However, they're not very bright, can't see them much during the day especially in bright sunlight, but they look great at night. This should be a $24.99 item AT MOST. I've seen homemade versions of this using the stock orange inserts... I almost like them better, and it only costs $10 to do. Think twice before getting these. I don't regret buying many things, but this is one of them. At $110+, I got ripped off.

Look Great
I am not sure why the other reviews are bad I love these. I was able to add them myself without too much trouble the quick splices that the install video one the recon web site said to use did not work but I was able to wire them into the blinker from the front side of the mirror and it was very easy. The hardest part of install was getting the glass off of the mirror but once I found the clips it went very smooth. They fit in the slots perfect and look great. I have had them in for 2 weeks now and have had several people comment on how good they look. They are not real bright during the day but are still very visible. One comment said that it did not fit correctly in the driver side mine fits like a glove. They are pricey but I am very happy with the purchase. looks a lot better than the orange reflector or just a black fill in.

This Item was working from 2013 until now
This Item was working from 2013 but stopped working now 2016. Only 1 or 2 of the LEDs now work on both of them which you would think would happen to just one first so not sure what is going on when the OE mirror side LEDs still work fine off the same wiring.I don't like to purchase and install aftermarket products which do not last for the life of the vehicle that I installed them on especially for this price. I would like a replacement but was told it only has a 90 day warranty. Also when first inquired support said to move wire in connector but no connector was originally supplied with these so they were wire soldered and sealed with liquid tape which now must be ripped out to replace these.I have purchased multiple products from Recon including these, Smoke Taillights, Smoked 3rd Brake Light and License Plate Lights.I was going to buy more product for my Raptor from Recon but now I am not sure about that so I will delete these from my amazon cart.Headlight LEDs - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BF6EE90/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1B2SF9J2WBIQSFender LEDs - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CEGOQF2/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1ZXYLG343UTJQ

Not to bad.
Well the fit is not perfect...but they Both work and look as advertised. I connected them as blinkers on a 2012 f150. Its Jan. 2018...So I will post any problems I have with them...If any...in the future.Well it's May 20th. The driver side leds are crooked. Seems like they slid down.

Must have customization
Clean and aggressive look for my 2010 F150. Fit perfect, I didn’t have to do any modifications like others “had to do”.
